Ball Joints: How to Tell if they are bad ?03 Oct 2007 08:46 GMT14
I'm getting some 'thunks' from my 2001 Civic EX front suspension, usually
when shifting between 1-2 and 2-3 , and also when the front tires hit an
obstacle that causes a front-to-back impact vs. and up and down. No problems
when driving daily at speed on the interstate. Struts ...

98 Prelude Immobilizer Problem (Lost Red Key)03 Oct 2007 06:48 GMT3
I just recently purchased a 98 Prelude, the red key has been lost
which is needed to add programed keys. I was told by the Honda dealer
that without this red learning key I would have to purchase a new
immobilizer then get the new keys programmed which will be costly.
94-97 how to replace front wheel stud?  DIY?03 Oct 2007 03:58 GMT36
I have a 97 accord.  I have a bad front wheel stud.  When they changed
my tires, I noticed that the studs are on a circular plate bolted to
the top of the rotor.
Easy enough...I can remove 4 bolts, then take the plate off with
93 Civic - window regulators03 Oct 2007 02:38 GMT2
Just curious about the 'typical' life expectancy of a manual window
regulator.
My driver's side window was FUBAR when I got the car three years ago,
and was at least partially workable until a few months ago.
poor gas mileage??02 Oct 2007 16:35 GMT11
2003 Honda Accord (4cyl auto) in good shape, runs well, about 24000
miles.  No maintenance on the car except oil changes and did one about
1000 miles ago.  Front tires are replaced recently (back tires look
very good) so they are almost new condition but I'm not getting the

honda crv 2004.02 Oct 2007 13:18 GMT3
I am trying to solve a braking problem, on the above.  With engine running,

improvement is noticed.
I have freed the brakes, because of rust, (not seized)  bled the system,
'01 Civic EX Gears.....02 Oct 2007 00:39 GMT4
I have an '01 Civic EX coupe 5-speed that may need a clutch
replacement soon. 90% of my driving is Interstae commute. At 70 mph in
5th gear, my RPM's are at 3400. I was thinking that if I could have
taller gears in 4th and 5th, reducing that RPM point to around

Total cost: $400.
Whistling wind noise on Odyssey01 Oct 2007 02:59 GMT4
My family has just purchased a 2007 Honda Odyssey EX. It's a sweet car
all around. But the only complaint we have is a whistling wind noise
when the driver's window is open. We took it to the dealer and the
problem somehow disappeared. They said it could be the windshield. But
Ridgeline oil change interval01 Oct 2007 02:57 GMT8
Got a new Ridgeline a few months ago. I can't find any oil change
interval information in there, just to wait for the "service" light to
come on to tell you when. I don't like to trust that much in the
vehicle! Anybody have an idea of how many miles / time to a first oil
