I have just acquired this vehicle. It requires one of those chip keys to start. I really hate those keys for several reasons. Is there any way to disable that function or otherwise avoid having to use those high-dollar keys?

the ABS indicator light stayed ON for few miles after i serviced the car. during the service it was help up and front wheels were powered by the engine while rear wheels were held stationary. could this be the reason?
