Anyone ever repair a funky ECM by opening it up and cleaning up any bad solder joints? Will the ECM avoid sending fuel if it sees something "wrong" at its sensors although there aren't any codes stored? Should I toss the ECM at this point?

The turn indicators on my Civic work for one or two times when starting from cold but then stop working. I assume the problem lies with the flasher relay which I believe is one of the little 'boxes' in the fuse box under hood. However which one? Anyone know? If the

| 1999 Honda CR-V, Clock and Immediate housing. | 26 Feb 2008 16:54 GMT | 3 |
Perhaps because I did it with the weather far too cold, but the removal of the broken clock in my 1999 Honda CR-V resulted in broken mount points within the housing. The housing I'm talking about is the part holding the vents, etc.

I have a 1991 Honda Civic and it runs well, but I feel like I should probably buy a newer car with airbags for more safety in a crash. Another reason I might want to buy another car is that mine is small. A larger car would probably provide additional protection. On the

| Coolant Vanishing: '95 Civic EX 1.6 - Attn Tegger and Techs | 26 Feb 2008 04:16 GMT | 41 |
When I had the oil changed in November, I was told they had to add "quite a bit" of coolant to the reservoir. Since the car came from NM, with a spotty service record, I had hoped that it was simply not topped off ever. Now, three months later, with only moderate driving, I see ...

I took my car to the shop because it was making a terrible whining sound when I turn the steering wheel when it first cranks up, especially in cold weather. I was told that I need a new Power Steering Pump, and they quoted me a total price of about $495.00. They explained that the ...
