accord auto shift button29 Feb 2008 17:54 GMT3
Hi.  I have a '94 accord ex & the button on the shifter is getting
really hard to push in.  Almost to the point where I need 2 hands.
Any idea how to fix that?
Also, the same car revs up & down when idling in cold weather.  Other
Any way to let the tailgate not open that much?29 Feb 2008 15:48 GMT5
My new Odyssey can open the tailgate (trunk) all the way up to higher
than the roof. It touches the top frame of my garage door. Is there a
way to restrict th tailgate from opening that far? Thanks.

I have a 1991 Accord with a 5spd F20A SOHC motor that is having problems
today.  I woke up to take kids to school and car was dead.  Car was not
started for 5 days and my wife said that yesterday she heard the cooling fan

94 Accord and fuel pump relay symptoms...sorta, see post29 Feb 2008 01:05 GMT30
Anyone ever repair a funky ECM by opening it up and cleaning up any
bad solder joints?  Will the ECM avoid sending fuel if it sees
something "wrong" at its sensors although there aren't any codes
stored?  Should I toss the ECM at this point?

1997 Honda Civic EX Shocks - Time for replacement?28 Feb 2008 15:56 GMT2
Greetings all,
While taking my (actually my late wife's) 1997 Honda Civic EX coupe to
the gym last night, I noticed that it wasn't riding as good as it used
to.  Besides the factor of crappy Louisiana Roads, I am starting to
88 accord auto trans no reverse28 Feb 2008 02:19 GMT2
I have an 88 accord with 130k with auto transmission. Within 50 miles it
quit pulling in D4. All it does when it shifts into D4 now is grind like 2
gears not engaging. At about the same time it quit pulling in reverse. It
does not make any noise in reverse, it just don't move. ...

Civic 2002 Indicator Flasher Relay28 Feb 2008 00:33 GMT3
The turn indicators on my Civic work for one or two times when
starting from cold but then stop working.  I assume the problem lies
with the flasher relay which I believe is one of the little 'boxes' in
the fuse box under hood.  However which one?  Anyone know?  If the

1999 Honda CR-V, Clock and Immediate housing.26 Feb 2008 16:54 GMT3
Perhaps because I did it with the weather far too cold, but the removal of
the broken clock in my 1999 Honda CR-V resulted in broken mount points
within the housing.
The housing I'm talking about is the part holding the vents, etc.
Newer cars a lot safer?  Worth the expense?26 Feb 2008 14:58 GMT24
I have a 1991 Honda Civic and it runs well, but I feel like I should
probably buy a newer car with airbags for more safety in a crash.
Another reason I might want to buy another car is that mine is small.
A larger car would probably provide additional protection.  On the
Coolant Vanishing: '95 Civic EX 1.6 - Attn Tegger and Techs26 Feb 2008 04:16 GMT41
When I had the oil changed in November, I was told they had to add
"quite a bit" of coolant to the reservoir. Since the car came from NM,
with a spotty service record, I had hoped that it was simply not topped
off ever. Now, three months later, with only moderate driving, I see ...
Labor cost for a Honda Accord Power Steering Pump26 Feb 2008 03:47 GMT14
I took my car to the shop because it was making a terrible whining sound when
I turn the steering wheel when it first cranks up, especially in cold weather.
I was told that I need a new Power Steering Pump, and they quoted me a total
price of about $495.00.  They explained that the ...
Do 2004 CRV's moon roofs leak?25 Feb 2008 15:58 GMT5
I have never had a car with a moon roof/sun roof.
I may have a lead on a used 2004 CRV with one.
Do the moon roofs on the 2004 CRV leak?  Seems to
me, that after a few years and a bit of sun light,
