Oxygen Sensor on 2003 Accord18 Mar 2008 19:41 GMT25
About a month or so ago I got an engine warning light with code P0141
(2nd bank Oxygen sensor). I continued driving for another 10,000 Kms.
Did not notice anything i.e. no rough idle, no increase in engine
heat, oil consumption, and did not notice a reduction in fuel

Steering wheel squeel18 Mar 2008 02:17 GMT1
Hey guys,
I just got my car back from having a second tranny installed. I
noticed though that when I turn at speeds more than 10 MPH the
steering column squeels. Any comments as to what it could be?
Ball Joints, Honda Civic EX17 Mar 2008 17:15 GMT5
I have a 1998 Honda Civic EX 4-Door.  I've owned it since June 1998.  Right
now, I'm at 195,800 miles.
Recently, after doing an oil pan replacement, the dealer addressed the
squeaking and noise I have by telling me that my for my lower ball joints,
Both headlights out at same time17 Mar 2008 16:02 GMT7
I have a 2001 Honda Civic and both the headlights have gone out.  I
checked the fuses under the hood (there is one for each) and they look
good.  I replaced one of the bulbs... nothing.  Everything else in the
electrical system seems to be working ok.
Alternator Needs Replacement....1982 Honda16 Mar 2008 23:40 GMT2
I have to take out the alternator on my 1982 Honda Accord.
Does anyone know the best way to do this?
The alternator sits near the bottom of the engine.
It has the power steering pump and air conditioner unit over it.

Newer Civic maintenance (2005 model)16 Mar 2008 18:50 GMT9
My 2005 Civic with the generic engine now has 115,000KM after 30 months
of non-stop daily use. I put on about 50,000KM a year. Lot's of highway,
maybe 25% city driving. Looking for maintenance suggestions from people
with experience with the same generation of Civic.
a repeat of my Prelude timing chain question16 Mar 2008 05:44 GMT7
Please excuse this double post which I first put in the other Honda
newsgroup:
I got some good advice here about my '01 Prelude which apparently now
needs a new timing belt because they decay with age, not mileage. I've
95 Accord Shock Assembly16 Mar 2008 04:57 GMT9
I attempted today to install a Monroe Quickstrut into both sides
of our 95 Accord. Upon putting in the strut assembly I couldn't get
the damper back on because there wasn't enough room to slide it at the
bottom of the strut. In comparing the two side by side you can see
Honda Fit 200915 Mar 2008 20:24 GMT3
Honda felt like it had such a successful launch with the Honda Fit
last year, that it already designed a new one. The new Fit looks a
little bigger than before, but i think it represents an evolutionary
rather than revolutionary change.

Can one remove the front wheel bearing from the hub without a press?
Parts person says no need to remove the front knuckle to press it out.
