Relative repair cost Acura vs. Honda11 Mar 2008 12:31 GMT5
A friend of mine is debating between an Accord and an Acura TL (both
used), and has made a few comments about Acuras being more expensive to
repair since it's a more expensive car.  I'm wondering what people's
experience has been with that?
1990 Honda Accord driver door update11 Mar 2008 03:11 GMT8
I posted a while back about my 1990 Honda Accord. The driver door
wouldnt open. I found someone to fix it. They took off the door
panel and destroyed the old latch mechanism with hammer and chisel
to get the door open. Then it was easy to change the latch.

Brakes need to be pumped09 Mar 2008 21:40 GMT8
I've got a 1977 Civic with brake problems. I burnt out a wheel bearing, and
when the wheel wobbled it opened up the front brake calipers. You then had
to pump the brake pedal to narrow the pad to disc gap, and get brake
pressure again.

Holly smokes! Panic! The Check Engine light is on. First time that
happened, pulled into a petrol station and put in more oil. That did
not solve the problem and made no difference. That was about a year
