Element AWD07 Mar 2008 18:26 GMT4
I've got a 2003 Honda Element with Real Time AWD, and am wondering if
the rear end gets engaged when making a tight turn. This thing has a
very tight turning circle and I'm concerned the difference in wheel
speed can cause the 4wd to engage? Am I off the wall thinking this?
Any accessory to cover top of window when parked?06 Mar 2008 20:17 GMT5
In summer, I like to roll down the window a little bit to keep the
inside cool. The problem is when it starts to rain, I have to rush to
my car and close the window. Is there some accessory I can install
near the top of the window so it stops rain from getting in? I don't
'00 honda civic will not start06 Mar 2008 16:49 GMT9
I'm not the most car savvy person, but I know enough to keep it running.
I have a 00 Civic DX, recently had engine work (broken crank shaft) at 73000
miles.  Replaced battery about 3 weeks ago, drove car to work this morning at
8 am, came out for lunch at 1 and car will not start.  ...
CRX ECU solders cracked?  Also ECU v ELD charge problem.06 Mar 2008 13:50 GMT4
1988 CRX DX M/T.  And some symptoms you might need to know if you read
far enough into this.  New batt and alt.  I do pizza driving at night,
so consider.  Full batt will run down, dash lights dim, headlights,
etc at idle.  You know the drill.  NO parasitic draw (tested simple

1999 CR-V weatherstripping05 Mar 2008 19:06 GMT3
Any suggestions how to reduce the potential bill for $960.00 to
weatherstrip 4 windows on this car?  ...sheesh
If I bought the stripping and installed myself maybe? Do I have to
take off inner door panels ?Or can it be done from the outside ?
New Honda Accord too wide, cannot get into garage safely.05 Mar 2008 05:20 GMT21
Too tight to drive into single wide garage door, about 1/2" clear on each
side and mirrors don't fold back. I guess with practice you could get in and
out of the garage but for now it has to be parked on the street. If Honda
make the car wider, the mirrors should fold back. Dang!

1990 Honda Accord - Glue Side Door Upholstery04 Mar 2008 01:32 GMT2
One of my inside door panel's cloth upholstery has begun to fall off.  What
kind of glue should I purchase (or does it have to be applied with a heat
gun)to make the repair myself?  Should I just take it an upholstery shop?
Would like the repair to look nice, the car is in very ...

CR-V Fires?02 Mar 2008 21:27 GMT6
In the past, 60 CR-Vs caught fire, (2003-2004 models)due to improper filter
changes, and dumb engine configuration by Honda engineers.  Has Honda
changed their engine configuration in the 2007 models, or is the oil filter
still in the same place?
WTF Tranny dipstick is bent02 Mar 2008 05:25 GMT6
My daughter tells me last night her 94 civic dx auto would not go into
reverse.
She says she heard a loud noise and then it went in.
I took it for a drive last night and it seemed fine.
Serpentine Belt 2003 CR-V01 Mar 2008 18:38 GMT3
If  I want to replace my drive belt, which way do I turn the bolt on the
auto-tensioner?  Is it towards the firewall or towards the front of the car?
Are Goodyear aftermarket drive belts okay, or should I stick with Honda
original parts?  What mileage should I replace the ...
Figuring Out How Much a Hybrid, Diesel, or Small Car Will Save Per Year01 Mar 2008 17:03 GMT160
There's a calculator at www.fast-math.org in which you can enter the
estimated mileage (or kilometerage) you drive per year, the mileage
your current car is getting, the mileage a proposed new car will get,
and it will show you how much money you can save. If you already have
