89 civic30 May 2008 03:04 GMT16
Well the legacy is over, my 98 civic has met its fate on the back end
of a 93 ranger.  I was the only one in the car, and walked away with
no injuries.
10500 in damage, it is beyond repair.

CRV vs. Accord. snow tires.28 May 2008 13:16 GMT3
I am trying to decide between buying a CRV and buying an Accord. There
is roughly a $1,500 between the two models.
But if I buy an Accord, I will have to have snow tires installed and
taken off once a year. Does anybody know how much that is going to be
2003 Pilot sometimes makes a tired, winding, whining noise... timing     belt?28 May 2008 05:15 GMT4
The Pilot has about 55k miles on it, and sometimes makes this tired,
winding, whining noise when starting up or idleing.  I want to say its
a belt of some sort, but I've had the belts recplaced, but this didn't
help.  I did not have the timing belt repleced though, could this be
CivicTire Monitoring System Light27 May 2008 11:35 GMT1
My son has a 2008 Civic, had an accident and the front right wheel was
destroyed.  The bodyshop replaced it and the TMS sender, but the light
on the dash is staying on.  Not the light that says the tire pressure
is low, but the TMS light.  Any ideas?  Do I need to bring it back to
wheel bearing problems26 May 2008 21:23 GMT2
I have a 2000 Honda accord with a previous front end accident.  I have
just had the rear passenger side wheel bearings changed (3 months ago)
and now need the rear drivers side done. My Honda mechanic says this
is surprising and only usually happens when there has been a rear end
85 Civic Si idle again26 May 2008 20:31 GMT14
I posted about this a while ago.  After it has warmed up the car will
not sit at idle.  The revs cycle between about 1200 and 2000 every
second approx.  Following suggestions here I drained the radiator and
refilled it with 50/50 coolant/water, and I inspected all the

'95 Civic--intermittent A/C cooling problem26 May 2008 05:22 GMT14
I have a 1995 Honda Civic with only 80,000 miles on it.
There's a mysterious intermittent cooling problem that two mechanics
have so far failed to fix:  The A/C just stops cooling after 15 minutes
or so.  If I cycle the A/C off and on with the dashboard controls a few
first $40 civic fillup25 May 2008 20:39 GMT11
I was flirting with danger this week and procrastinated until
the yellow empty light.  Then the 10.5 gallons shocked me even more
at $40 dollars.   Not too many years ago $40 would last a whole month.
It could be worse - some people are seeing triple digit prices on
