Corolla v Civic v Hyundai/Nissan moeds15 May 2008 17:10 GMT72
Our old Camry is showing its age (~12 years) and we have decided to
look for a new car but budget down to "Corolla level". I said "level"
as I am open to competing models from Honda, Hyundai, Nissan, etc.
I would appreciate your help in choosing the model, as well as the
How to Build and Install a Hydrogen Generator to Power Your Car on     Water15 May 2008 12:33 GMT-
A while back I decided to build a hydrogen generator to help save
money on my fuel bill. My ex-husband had built one and installed it on
his car and was saving a ton of money. His fuel mileage had doubled!

95 CIVIC 1.5 GRADUALLY LOSES COOLANT--15 May 2008 04:23 GMT28
The engine runs flawlessly and gets 45 MPG local driving and 54 MPG
highway.
Every 1,000 miles or so, I need to add about a pint of coolant each to
the radiator and the reservoir.

Vehicle Speed Sensor14 May 2008 20:27 GMT3
I took my 1991 Honda Accord to the dealer recently becuase sometimes
when I drive, the sport light starts flashing, the speedometer reads
zero, and the check engine comes on. The dealer asked me to replace
the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS). To minimize the expenses, I am
economics of driving14 May 2008 20:15 GMT4
Dear Forumers,
Say I can choose between two cars. The gas mileage of the first car is
25. The gas mileage of the second car is 30. Let us say that the cost
of gas is 4$ per gallon.
Car Running on Water14 May 2008 18:51 GMT2
This can be achieved when H2O is combusted with gas, and it will be
discussed in further detail in this article.

Plan on driving a new car on a 3000mile highway trip.  Bad idea?14 May 2008 16:01 GMT18
I was planning on taking my soon to take possession Pilot on a trip
which will consist mostly of highway driving of about 3000mile drive
and been told that that's not such a good idea because you don't want
to drive a brand new car on the highway for any extended amount if you
Hard to get off Spark Plug Boots14 May 2008 14:12 GMT4
Hard to get off Spark Plug Boots
If you ever have a spark plug boot that is hard to get off one way
that has worked good for me is to take a 2-3 foot 3/16 brake line and
screw it into a air nozzle and then file the end of the line to look
hydrolock 01 integra gsr14 May 2008 06:46 GMT16
Ok few days ago at night I got stuck in a flooded area and now I have
some water in my engine.  I had the car towed home and the next day I
took out the spark plugs and sucked out the water from each cylinders.
The first two cylinders had some water but the last two didn't.  From
Missing lug nuts14 May 2008 04:32 GMT4
I pulled into a shopping center parking space right next to this real small
Honda beater (I think a Civic that was so old it must have had a two digit
serial number) and noticed that the RF wheel was missing one of its four lug
nuts. The driver was in the car so I walked around ...
Weird Idle when cold (1994 prelude VTEC)13 May 2008 19:12 GMT7
Hello all. I need opinions. Car is a 1994 prelude VTEC.
On cold starts, idle climbs to 2 to 2.5K RPM. All is well it seems.
Then after a while, when the engine starts to warm up, the RPM will go
down, then up, down then up (you get the picture).
New 2008 Civic MPG13 May 2008 15:39 GMT36
Hi;
We are considering buying a 2008 civic. Could you please tell me the
gas mileage you get for city driving? My wife drives mostly around
town and is hoping for about 30 mpg. The sticker EPA Estimate reads
Fast Idle Thermo Valve13 May 2008 08:50 GMT3
I've been driving an automatic 1990 Honda Civic DX for 2 and a half years.
The Car has been great, but always idles really high before it is warmed up.
Especially if not used for a couple of days.
I realized that it will idle higher than normal when cold, but this is
Accord Replacement Keys13 May 2008 06:46 GMT13
We lost one of the keys to our 2003 Accord EX-V6 last year.  As a
result we had to go to the Honda dealer, and pay $100 for a new key,
and re-programming of all the keys.  This is supposed to be a security
safeguard.  Today, we found the long lost key.  Just for my amusement,
