I spent several hundreds dollars to pass emissions last month.  I was
receiving eCU codes P0401 and P0420, which were both resolved after
the shop replaced my Catalyst Converter and O2 sensor, but now the
"Check Engine" light is back with the following codes:

I have a 1996 Honda Accord and it has some 267,000 km on it.
I have changed the timing belt when it hit 247,000 km....and I just
got back from the mechanic after hearing weird engine noises and he
told me that my timing needed to be changed.
Windshield fogging07 May 2008 23:01 GMT6
I had the leaking heater core replaced about a year ago in my '94 Honda
Accord LX but the windshield started fogging up again in cold days and
nights about a month ago. Not as much as it was before that heater core was
replaced, but it still concerns me. Though the condensation ...

Blinking sports light06 May 2008 19:12 GMT2
I was driving my 1991 Honda Accord last week when, all of a sudden,
the sports light on the dashboard started blinking, the speedometer
dropped to zero, and the check engine light came on. I pulled over and
shut down the engine. When I started driving again, everything was
Yaris, Scion xD, Honda Fit - no water temp gauge06 May 2008 10:49 GMT316
I've been thinking about what my next commute car is going to be. 80
miles/day, it's just me and my briefcase, so thinking of a small
vehicle with great gas mileage. Yaris hatchback, Scion xD, or Honda
Fit would work for me. Problem is, none of them has a water temp

Hi, I have an 88 civic and knocking is coming from under the hood.  I
thought maybe the engine was just getting old so I switched to premium

It's knocking a lot but I don't think it's the engine as it knocks at

4500rpm idle after timing belt change05 May 2008 16:58 GMT4
This is the second timing belt change on my 96 Civic.  This time it went
much smoother than it was 100k miles ago, BUT...
When I went to start the car, it went straight up to 4000rpm, then continued
onto 4500rpm at a slightly slower rate.  It remained there until I shut off
Rotor Work for 96' Accord05 May 2008 16:45 GMT8
I almost fell out of my chair when my dealer told me that new rotors and pads
would cost $470 total.  Is this about right?  He said the "front end" has to be
removed so it's mostly a labor issue.  Thanks for any advice.

I am asking for advice as to whether I should remove collision
coverage on my 1998 Civic DX coupe that has 156,000 miles on it.  I
bought the car brand new 10 years ago.
If I remove the coverage, it would save me approximately $20/month.
