Torquing of head bolts ?17 Sep 2008 13:45 GMT16
I finally got around to getting the head back on my 89 Accord. I didn't have
it skimmed or valves rebuilt. I know my rings aren't that great. I bolted it
down with new gasket and went through the tightening sequence. I did it
about five times, each time adding another 10 or so, ...

Have heard mention on here of belts and water pumps purchased through

This is the 1.6 EX sedan. The light comes on, and either stays on

have nothing to do at all with braking. In fact, it has yet to come on
*while* I'm braking. The brakes are working perfectly under normal

Obama 0816 Sep 2008 00:00 GMT8
I know this is not really specific to the RI chat room subject, but I

several times during the speech. I was previously close to voting for McCain
or a republican, but when I started to get to know what ...

Should I switch?15 Sep 2008 14:23 GMT11
I've had a 93 Corolla since 95 but it's having problems at 168k mi and we

I'm thinking of a newer Corolla but someone also mentioned that Hondas
have gotten pretty reliable since 1990, especially the Civic?
