I finally got around to getting the head back on my 89 Accord. I didn't have it skimmed or valves rebuilt. I know my rings aren't that great. I bolted it down with new gasket and went through the tightening sequence. I did it about five times, each time adding another 10 or so, ...

This may be a goofy question , but here it goes. When reference is made in the manual for capacities they say for example the tranny takes 4 quarts. Up here in Canada it is all metric. When converteing do I use U.S. ? Thanks

I have a 98 Honda Civic Ex and about 3wks we replaced the spark plugs & wires, fuel filter, batter and distributor cap, and ignition coil. A few days ago I was driving and the car started to putter and it was stuck at 65mph and I had to hit the brakes hard to get it to slow down

I've had a 93 Corolla since 95 but it's having problems at 168k mi and we need a reliable car for work. I'm thinking of a newer Corolla but someone also mentioned that Hondas have gotten pretty reliable since 1990, especially the Civic?
