I always thought that passive-restraint systems carried their own, longer warranty. When I went to a Honda dealer about an instrument-panel warning light referring to the air-bag system, I was told that the longer warranty

Mobil-1 has a new fully synthetic formulation of ATF (not the syn- blend multi-vehicle formula). Going through the specs during recent discussions on ATF I noticed that Mobil-1's new fully-syn ATF can be in Honda Z1 applications. So

I have an '87 Accord DX with carb fuel. My problem is rough running and lack of power after the engine warms and drops to normal idle RPM (about 700 rpm). It has poor power getting under way or climbing hills from this point. The problem appears to be intermittant as well. When ...

| Two new tires, front or back? | 08 Oct 2008 13:20 GMT | 14 |
I was going to get two new tires for my 91 Accord at Costco. They will only mount new tires on the rear if you only get two. Apparently a study tells them that the better tires should be on the rear to prevent fishtailing. Odd, I would think that the front would be

I have a 97 Honda Accord Aerodeck (Wagon) and one of the keys was in my bag which was stolen. Unfortunately my address was on my driving licence which was also in the bag, and it's also possible that the person who stole the bag knows me and knows which is my car. As such I ...

| What service items for 1994 Accord with 60k miles? | 06 Oct 2008 05:25 GMT | 4 |
Well after 14 years it's almost time for my next "major service". The last one was at 30k miles, in 1999. LOL. I've done tires and brakes within the last year. Other than that, these things come to mind:

| Quiet turn signals | 06 Oct 2008 04:10 GMT | 4 |
The turn signals on my 2006 Accord V-6 seem to be extremely quiet. Consequently, I often find myself driving with a turn signal blinking (when I didn't make a sharp enought turn for it to automatically turn off). This is especially common in daylight as the arrow is not that ...
