99 Accord wouldn't start31 Dec 2008 22:52 GMT5
My daughter has a 99 Accord LX with about 94K miles on it. We bought
it as a one owner, off a lot last Thanksgiving. Very clean, known
female owner, only extra option was an aftermarket remote starter. The
car has been running very nicely and I replaced the timing belt at
replacing heater hose31 Dec 2008 20:15 GMT2
Hi all, i think my heater hose (not sure which one) burst last night.
I could see smoke coming from the rear of the engine next to the fire
wall (maybe the coolant hit the exhaust).  Anyway car over heated,
managed to get it home.  Read online that you have to raise the motor
95 Odyssey- heater cable and starter31 Dec 2008 00:47 GMT7
My Ody has developed 2 problems and I would like a little reality check on
both of them.
1. The heater control cable has become disconnected. The cable has detached
from the dash control unit. It is not at the valve's end of the cable. Heat
Lost chains == Brake Leak30 Dec 2008 23:06 GMT7
Hello, Fellow Honda Drivers:
The snow up in the northwest required that I put chains on my 98 Honda
Accord EX.  It was so nice to have chains and get around, I followed
all the rules, do not exceed 30 mph and stay off dry pavement, but
98 accord coupe V6 sudden excessive gas use28 Dec 2008 14:19 GMT5
THis car bought new began getting only 10-12 mpg about six months ago.
Dealer did major tune up. No improvement. Dealer hooked up computer
which shows perfect air fuel mixture. Sent the readout to Honda
engineers in California who had no suggestion. No evidence of leaks,
Where is fuel filter on 2001 Accord EX Automatic ?27 Dec 2008 23:20 GMT14
I see the fuel rail line go down the firewall but no traditional "can"
filter....
New Catalytic Converter26 Dec 2008 18:03 GMT21
I have a 1998 Honda Civic EX Sedam.  It has 209,800 miles as of now.
Recently, I had the heat shield for the cat. converter replaced, due t
the old one rattling.  I felt that it may have been due to decay of th
cat. converter itself.
1999 Civic CX questions26 Dec 2008 15:55 GMT3
I have a 1999 Honda Civic CX (the US hatchback version, manual
transmission, possibly the last year it was made) with 230,000 miles.
It has been driven almost exclusively in California, and mostly
highway miles (80%). Pretty much everything is still original on this
'99 Accord Side Mirror26 Dec 2008 15:34 GMT1
Can someone tell me how to replace the mirror only (not the whole assembly)
?
Can I buy this mirror online in Canada?
Thanks

I saw another story reporting this with a photo of the Accord in
question, but the caption referred to it as a "Honda Civic". Guess the
caption writer didn't bother to read the story. Oh, and it also had "BUY
Oil Change '07 Accord V6 EX-L26 Dec 2008 04:33 GMT14
I'm due for an oil change that I thought I'd do myself. It's the first time
for me on this car-- though I've changed my own oil for many years and a
wide assortment of cars.
The owner's manual says a special tool is needed to remove the oil drain. I
1986 Accord Oil Pan26 Dec 2008 00:49 GMT4
I need to remove the oil pan on my 86 Accord LX to clean the oil pump
screen and associated parts.  I have everything off that needs to come
off including the nuts and bolts in the pan.  On each side of the pan is
a metal strip running almost the full length of the pan presumably to
Windshield Wiper problem25 Dec 2008 12:28 GMT5
So my son bought a 03 Honda Accord. He's had it 30 days, and the
windshield wipers stopped working.
I've checked the 30 amp fuse in the interior fuse box and it is good.
When you turn on the wipers you can hear a very low volume motor start
Any Honda models good in snow?24 Dec 2008 22:42 GMT26
My '94 Accord sure is not. In winter time I foundly think of my old VW
Beetle that would go anywhere in snow without snow tires. This Accord,
even with front snow tires, is pretty lame. I wonder if Civics are any
better.
