| Buying advice.. 2009 Civic DX-G | 17 May 2009 15:20 GMT | 6 |
Been considering a purchase of 2009 Civic DX-G. I've never owned a Honda and I'm getting mixed reviews from a few people I know that have owned or still own a Civic of earlier vintages. Looking for the groups opinion on:

Some times when I start my car the air bag light will come on (like 10% of the time I start the car) but most of the time it does not. I found that if I shut the engine off wait a few seconds and start the engine again, I get no indicator light. Is there any way for me to

| How to check out older car? Which car to keep? | 13 May 2009 19:00 GMT | 19 |
My 1992 Honda Accord got stolen. I waited a week, then bought a 2001 Honda Civic. They found my car the next day. Now I'm trying to decide which one to keep and I would like to ask people's opinions on this. I think my old Accord is fine, they didn’t damage the car much. They

| Timing Belts | 11 May 2009 19:07 GMT | 8 |
Is there any reasonably easy way of telling if a timing belt has been recently changed? We're about to buy a 2001 Civic. The owner claims has had the timing belt changed (at 116k!). The Honda dealer has no record of having seen the car in 7 years. The car has otherwise been

| Intermittent 8-5 "Internal failure of the SRS unit" error | 11 May 2009 08:15 GMT | 3 |

My 89 Accord SE-I (a20a3 engine) is leaking oil while parked in the driveway overnight. Will a bad oil pan gasket or rear main seal cause that? Is the oil level high enough to leak while just sitting there? Thanks,

| Highest MPG for Non-Hybrids? | 08 May 2009 03:17 GMT | 67 |
I just averaged 50mpg on a quarter tank of gas with my '95 Civic EX sedan. That's the highest I've ever gotten, and it's not representative because of the small sample and because that driving was 90% highway, but I still find it impressive. What other high numbers are you folks

| Headlight repair question (1998 Honda Accord EX Coupe) | 06 May 2009 23:47 GMT | 1 |
Last year my Honda was in a accident, well not really, but the car was damaged. My future wife took the car on the interstate in Seattle with the snow chains on. Wow, the chains probably ripped off around 40-50MPH. When the chains ripped off, they tore out the headlight and
