Nice Words About Hyundai On NPR29 Feb 2004 21:51 GMT2
On NPRs "Car Talk" today one of the hosts commented that Hyundais had
greatly improved in the past few years.
2004 Elantra GT - How accurate is the trip meter (MPG)?29 Feb 2004 15:53 GMT26
I'm just curious...
We just got a 2004 Elantra GT (automatic)... love it so far, but we've
only gone through the 1st full tank of gas so far :).
I was wondering if anybody knows how accurate the MPG thing is on the
Hyundai Sonata engine floods with injectors and will not start up29 Feb 2004 15:42 GMT1
Can any one give me some advise.
My Hyundai Sonata will not start as too much fuel is being pushed in
by the injetors according to RAC. They managed to get it going a few
months ago by disconnecting the eletrics to injectors, cranking the
Have any of you used Hyundai's roadside service?29 Feb 2004 15:33 GMT16
So, should I give up my Auto Club Membership after 19 yrs?  If you've
used Hyundai's roadside service, how did it work out?

2001 Hyundai Sonata 4cyl auto trans29 Feb 2004 15:04 GMT3
After a few of my friends had purchased Hyundai vehicles I figured why not
give it a shot.  They are nice looking cars and are fairly inexpensive.  I
did not buy my car new, but used with 23,700.  Long story short within a
week of buyng the car I realized that the transmission fluid ...
New XG350L Owner29 Feb 2004 14:51 GMT16
I considered very carefully all the advice you gave me over the last 24
hrs. Because of it, I came very near holding off for another 30-45 days
closer to when my lease terminates.  In the end, I decided to purchase
now because I would have to install new rear breaks before I ...

else encountered this malfunction yet?
Disappointed with XG's bass/treble controls (and Stereo)28 Feb 2004 19:09 GMT19
These are the cheapest, plastic-y, most archaic knobs/controls I could
ever imagine, not even as nice as what came with my standard AM/FM radio
on my 1987 Corolla. No ability to let you know what is mid range in any
of your settings except your ear, and I feel I have to be ...
XG350L owner needs advice about Kia26 Feb 2004 20:39 GMT1
OK, I love my 02 XG350L, but I do miss riding up high. My wife has an
02 Santa Fe which I drive a lot. I like her Santa Fe but the size is
just a bit too small for what I want. I want more of a mis-size SUV.
Beleive or not, the Kia Sorento is the perfect size. I have not tested
Rebates26 Feb 2004 07:45 GMT1
I'm sure this is a stupid question, but I can't find the answer
anywhere.
I know that Hyundai has rebates up to $2000 for a 2004, and up to
$2500 for a 2003 Elantra. Are those rebates applied at the time of
Jason - re XG350L25 Feb 2004 14:19 GMT3
A boat??????  Are you crazy? :)  It doesn't feel any larger than my
Accord, IF that large!!  You scared me with the boat comment, I was so
relieved when I finally test drove it Saturday because I knew in my
heart of hearts that this was the model I would want.  I'm so happy with
Tiburon shaking25 Feb 2004 13:31 GMT9
My girlfriend went to work this morning to find the car (2003 Tiburon
gtv6) shaking hard at anything over 60mph. She took it up to 80mph and
it didn't go away till she went below 60 again. Last night the car
went just fine on the way home. She didn't hit anything like potholes
windows off  track , 2000 elantra24 Feb 2004 21:16 GMT1
I bought a 2000 elantra new, since then each of the 4 power windows had
fallen off the track . i spoke to someone today who owns the same model and
has had no problems with his windows.
Does anybody out there know if this is a problem that is common with this
How to install an inside air filter for my Hyundai Accent?23 Feb 2004 23:43 GMT1
I have this smell, this milky odor in my car whenever I turn on the
AC. Reading the previous posts in this group I can tell this is
happening because I do not have air filter in my car. (I am not
talking about the air filter near the engine)
