Speedo Signal from a Santa Fe20 Mar 2004 00:21 GMT1
I look for a wiring diagram from the cable tree from a Santa Fe comes out
behind at the radio. I need the signal of the speedo for a navigation system
and whether the reverse gear is inserted. can tell me anybody whether these
data are integrated in the cable tree?
93 Excel need code reader19 Mar 2004 14:55 GMT3
Does anyone know where I can get a code reader for my 93 Hyndai Excel?
The auto parts stores I have tried don't have one for Excels as "old"
as mine.. sheesh. Also I had a hard time finding spark plug wires that
actually fit the car. The coil wires were all too short in the
2002 Hyundai Elantra Warranty18 Mar 2004 22:17 GMT11
I have been eyeing a 2002 Hyundai Elantraa at the dealership and
wanted the scoop on the warranty.  Is the warranty transferable for a
used car to the 2nd owner?  Also I have seen the elantra rated very
high, would you pick the elantra over a 2002 Chevrolet Prism/Toyota
Is Hyundai maintenance expensive?18 Mar 2004 01:41 GMT3
Many people tell me Hyundai cars break down easily and maintenance is
expensive. Is that true? Are Hyundai parts more expensive than Toyota?
Is Hyundai reliable?
I'm looking at a Hyundai Elantra 2000 with 27000 miles on it. The
Atoz problem17 Mar 2004 22:33 GMT2
I have an Atoz that on acceleration between 30 and 40 mph is making a noise
. The noise sounds like a diesely , rumbling, blowing type of noise.
It is under warranty and has been back to the dealer several times. The
dealer says there is nothing wrong but I have never heard this ...
all this to replace a wheel stud17 Mar 2004 01:24 GMT6
I had to remove a front tire due to a flat and broke a
lug nut off . I looked at hma service site and it looks
like to remove the stud you would have to remove the
hub assembly.
HYUNDAI SUCKS!16 Mar 2004 21:35 GMT28

Wood grain in Sonata16 Mar 2004 15:49 GMT2
Has anyone in here installed their own wood grain finish in their Sonata? If
so did it void your warrantee. Where did you purchase it? I was told by my
dealer that THEY have to order it and INSTALL it so my warrantee does not
void. Does this hold any truth.
transmission16 Mar 2004 14:27 GMT2
Now that my 200 Tib is out of warrentee, I am thinking about modding
it for performance.
Does anyone have any specs or or know the manufacturer/model of the
tranny?  I want to make sure that anything I do (big bore throttle
What happened to Robin?16 Mar 2004 07:26 GMT4
Except for your stereo and seat belt issue, very little word since you made
your purchase. Are you happy or have you driven the XG350 over a cliff? Sold
it?
FYI, Consumer Reports just listed the XG350, Sonata and Santa Fe as
Brake pads on a 2002 Elantra with ABS16 Mar 2004 02:40 GMT5
I had asked the dealer service dept the "type" of brake pads they use
and was told in the discussion definitely not ceramic. So being they
wanted more than 2X the going rate for a brake job around here, I went
and got them done a local reputable shop. In the process, before I got
Sonata Odometer15 Mar 2004 11:50 GMT4
Hi everyone, I am buying a used 2001 Sonata. It has done 15,000 kilometres
according to the clock (I am in Australia) but I am a bit suspicious. How
easy would it be to fiddle the odometer so it shows 15,000 kilometres rather
than say...115,000 kilometres?
Sonata LX emblem15 Mar 2004 02:57 GMT2
I'm pretty sure that a while back someone (Jason?) mentioned that they
had a Sonata LX that came through without the "LX" emblem on the deck
lid. (My 2003 LX doesn't have it)
I've seen them both with and without the emblem. Anyone know the story?
Spark plug replacement 2.7 V614 Mar 2004 19:23 GMT3
Hyundai web tech does not describe the procedure to R & R plugs for this
engine--
Does anyone know the procedure?  Or where I can find it?
Thanks
