I have a 2002 Hyundai elantra and have been unable to locate the
accessory/cigar ligher fuse.  Is it not on its own circuit?

lighter?  I have a tranceiver that pulls about 12A on transmit (much
2000 Hyundai Sonata GLS radio fuse constantly blowing10 May 2004 17:58 GMT4
The radio fuse is constantly blowing and we have replaced it multiple
times.  The first time I ever noticed it was when I hit a dip in the road.
Is this a fairly common problem?  If not, I'll just pull the radio out to
try and locate a shorted wire.  Also, any special trick to ...
Santa Fe10 May 2004 02:53 GMT4
I'm looking at the 2.4 petrol Santa Fe (I'm in England), and also
considering the Shogun Pinin, the Grand Vitara, and an imported
Terrano - all around the same price, at £14000-ish.
I'd like to know how it copes with snow and ice - the others have dual
AC Odor09 May 2004 19:31 GMT4
I just bought a 2000 Sonata and I am wondering if anyone can tell me why
there is a terrible odor when I have the AC on recirc. It doesn't do it when
the fresh air is on just when I use the recirc. Any ideas how to get rid of
this smell?
Changing the A/C filter08 May 2004 15:49 GMT3
My Sonata is a 2000 model and now has only 34,000 miles.  Today I
figured it was much overdue for its first A/C filter change.
Now, that a real tricky operation, gaining access to the A/C filter.
Anyhow I got it out.  It really was rather dirty.  I took it in hand
2003 Elantra stalling ...08 May 2004 01:23 GMT2
I have a 2003 Elantra (about >1 year old now) and I like the car a
lot. Yesterday, while turning right, the engine seemed to stall -
pressing the accelerator down resulted in no power, I pumped it once
or twice and the car returned to normal.
Computer read out07 May 2004 23:11 GMT6
I went to the dealer today to have te computer read out. They say there are
no trouble codes stored in the computer (also showed to me by a print
out). Back home I attached a voltmeter onto it and I read out code 43 (4
long sweeps and 3 shot ones). How is this possible??
Air car07 May 2004 15:00 GMT2
1992 Hyundai Sonata can't pass clean air test.
Hydrocarbons too high.
If the car is a visible coal-burner they don't even test it, this one
gets tested and fails. It has not gone 20km - 12 miles since the fall,

HMFC payments pain in the Butt02 May 2004 20:26 GMT3
I have 2 Hyundais a 2004 elantra that I love and a 2002 accent that I bought
for my daughter 2 years ago. I made the mistake of financing the accent
through HMFC.  This is the most behind the times organization I have ever
seen.
Who is familiar with control arm problems?02 May 2004 19:28 GMT9
I have a 2002 Accent GS, and for awhile now it will produce loud clunking
noises between the front wheels - it only does this when I accelerate at a
90 degree turn from a stop. Having done some research, I'm suspecting either
the lower control arm or control arm bushings, does this ...
Hyundai surpasses Toyota...02 May 2004 07:02 GMT3
I read today in AutoBeat Daily that in the latest J.D. Power and Associates
automobile quality survey, Hyundai actually surpassed Toyota in the 'Initial
Build Quality' category. Lexus still beat out all makes by individual
nameplate. But Hyundai did score better than the individual ...
