Jiffy Lube, Oilchangers etc.12 Oct 2004 02:36 GMT18
I've always had bad experiences (work not really done, unneeded work
recommended, etc) with both Jiffy Lube and Oilchangers. Are there any
other quick lube chains that have a good reputation?
Thanks.

2000 Sonata wiring diagram color code?11 Oct 2004 18:00 GMT1
As I mentioned in another post, I'm looking to tap into the driver's
door switch on our 2000 Sonata GLS to install a headlight warning
buzzer. I looked at the courtesy light schematic available on the
Hyundai Webtech service and if I'm reading it correctly, it looks like
Elantra 1999.  Fuses for brake light?  11 Oct 2004 17:53 GMT1
A couple days ago, both of my rear brake lights went out.  Is there a fuse
that handles that?  The 3rd rear brakelight worked(by the back window).
After messing with the fuses I got nothing.  I did mess w/ a fuse under
the hood.  It was titled "tails".  Anyways now all 3 lights are ...

XG350 owners-you'll get a kick out of this11 Oct 2004 09:01 GMT7
Yesterday, I drove to a health food store with my 87 year old mother,
who has some dementia.  Even though I tell her that I'm going into the
store and I'll be right back, she sometimes forgets and panics, not
knowing where I am.  Consequently, I try not to leave her in the car ...
tiburon gt-v6 top speed?11 Oct 2004 05:27 GMT3
I am a little chicken to get my tibby out somewhere and really let it
fly but I am interested to see what are some of the actually top
speeds some of you guys have gotten out of your cars. I have only been
as high as 108 MPH, but I backed off for fear of a ticket. The only
Thinking about buying XG35011 Oct 2004 05:04 GMT14
I do not know much about the car but do like the looks, warranty and size of
the XG350L.  I would appreciate current/past owner comments, good and bad.
Thinking about a 2003 or 2004 model year.
Thanks.
Brake Set 2001 Elantra11 Oct 2004 04:55 GMT15
I gave my elantra for 45K service. I was told to replace the brake pads as
they were bad.
My question: Can I do this in MIDAS or TUFFY and save some money? Will
Hyundai Warranty still be covered?
2001 Accent Tire Replacement10 Oct 2004 19:53 GMT13
Time for new rubber. Any brand/model recommendations appreciated. Also
considering wheel/tire size change. Good idea?
04 Sonata trans, again10 Oct 2004 14:49 GMT16
Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. My 04 V6 GLS
Sonata likes to downshift from 3rd gear right into 1st, completely
bypassing 2nd. No a big problem if I am coming to a complete stop, but
if I slow down to 1 or 2 MPH then accelerate, I'm in 3rd. Really sucks
Hyundai in CA was reading us today10 Oct 2004 11:44 GMT2
I was on the phone doing a set up of me driving a hybrid in 2005 at my
dealership in N Olmstead since I am one Hyundai's list of drivers of
every car they have put out.  Even the Manager at the dealership
phoned me about making them bigger a deal than ever.
