| best tires? | 22 Nov 2004 01:02 GMT | 5 |
IN about 1 month I plan on getting rid of the shitty stock tires and buying a decent pair for my 02 accent. What type would you suggest? I live in Pa, so they will have to deal with snow, rain and wet leaves. As for the snow I do have a set of studded snow tires that I put on the ...

We are getting a laugh out of a TV ad for a Kia dealership that every Sedona sold the purchaser gets a FREE Accent. They are that bad that they choose a car instead of $6K off the price????

I am thinking of buying 99 accent 60K and sticksshift on it. I live at a place where snow fall will happen pretty heavily and I have never driven in snow. To make the matters interesting, the car has no power steering. Can anyone tell me if its a good or a bad idea to buy a car

| Sonata 2004 - Program new remote | 18 Nov 2004 01:03 GMT | 1 |
I just bought a new remote for the 2004 Hyundai Sonata and want to program it. The dealer quoted me $45.00, but it can't be too difficult. I saw some other references to TSB's but the one I located did not reference the 2004 Sonata. Nor could I even locate the valet switch, maybe ...

Hello everyone... We bought a small KIA a few years ago new, and have been very impressed with the little car.. As a result, when we decided a few weeks ago that we wanted a second car, we went looking at Hyundai/KIA again.. We found a 2000 Sonata GLS that the local

| 95 Hyundai S-Coupe ignition barrel | 15 Nov 2004 18:03 GMT | 1 |
Anyone know the procedure to remove it? I've got 3/4 of a snapped key in mine and want to get the rest of the key out before I get a lock smith out to cut me two new keys. Don't want to have to pay a lock smith $$$ to remove the piece of key.

| 2000 Sonata electrical weirdness | 15 Nov 2004 17:59 GMT | 3 |
I also had this strange episode a few weeks ago. After I bought the car I had a remote starter/security system that was in there deactivated. I think it was a Power Start 9000A by G.I.T. Security Products. I don't know whether or not they removed all the

| '04 Tiburon first oil change | 15 Nov 2004 16:28 GMT | 1 |
I recently purchased a 2004 Tiburon and am at about 1200 miles. I know that generally with a car, you're supposed to get an oil change every 3000 miles. However, is it true that the first oil change should be done prior to 1500 miles? And should the first oil change include a ...

I'm working on a 2.4l engine. The balance shaft belt broke which bent the flange between the 2 crank gears and in turn destroyed the cranksensor and nearly the timing belt. I am having trouble removing the crank gears. How do keep the crankshaft from moving. Is there a place to pin ...

| Servicing under lease | 14 Nov 2004 19:52 GMT | 10 |
Hi there --I'm just wondering whether you have an obligation to take your car to a Hyundai dealer for servicing if you are leasing a car from them. I'm in Canada. I was thinking of doing the oil/air filter stuff and tire rotations

| 2000 Sonata - washer fluid pump shot | 13 Nov 2004 02:12 GMT | 7 |
Well it finally went below freezing a few nights back and I still had some summer washer fluid in the reservoir. My guess was that it froze up and that's why my pump wasn't spritzing properly. But it's had plenty of time to thaw and I've also poured some fluid that's good for -40 C, ...
