I would like to say "thank you"!Your information is very much
appreciated.My Hyundai dealer quoted me a price of $149.99 to just change
the pads.Another $49.99 to resurface the rotors.The pads will cost me
$25.00 at the local parts store,my rotors are fine,no pulsating.I thank

When the car is cold the brakes tend to squeal (a minor squeal but
noticeable) when coming to a stop.
Partially easing up on the break pedal when stopped results in a sort of
a scraping sound.

questions.
1.-Do I just remove 1 of the bolts?
2.-The peg spanner tool is for the rears?

wd40 is a no no, silicon spray maybye? my linkcages are little stiff etc for
the clucth and squeeky.

Been working on  friends Accent with a inttermentent no start problem. He
has had lots already changed out, coils, fuel rail and fuel pressure
checked. I replaced the ECU and thought I had it whipped. HA!! I need some
help if anyone has came across this phenomenon

I've just put a recon motor in my hyundai excel 1993.
It is a dual fuel and runs ok on lpg but on petrol runs very rich.
If when accelerating I just back of throttle it will run clean but the
slightest increase in throttle causes lots of black smoke.

The radio in our 2000 Sonata has for some time been turning itself on
seemingly at random. This is the Am/Fm unit with CD player (no
cassette). It otherwise appears to be working OK. Not a big problem,
but it's annoying. Is this a common problem with this unit? Anyone
