I have a 1999 Elantra that for the last few weeks is giving me
problems. It starts well but after running for a while, the temperature
gauge goes crazy (goes all the way up and then all the way up within a
second or two) and then it stops and it does not show the temperature.

I have a 2001 Accent(51,000 miles).
There is a scraping sound in the rear, right wheel only when i brake.
It is only this wheel and occured right after i tried to vigorously

When shifting (manual) clicking sound come from under the car. When
knock to gas tank sound come as fuel pump hitting the bottom, or foreign
object is inside. Does anybody have this weird sound when knock to gas tank?

I just purchased a 2003 Santa Fe Stellar, it is a standard, 4 Cylinder,
2 wheel drive.  Does anyone have one or know anything about them?  The
guy that sold it to me told me it was a special edition..and didn't

I changed the transmission fluid chnaged filter now tranny slips and shakes.
Ran fine before. At start up from a light or stop is main problem. If I
manual sh.t trrought gears, not as bad.

We have replaced the power window lift mechanism, on our 98 Sonata driver's
window, 3 times in 4 years.  Is this unusual?  Is this a problem common to this
model?  Is there anything we can do to lessen the frequency of this happening?

I just got back from my dealer and found the right rear wheel bearing is
going. I heard the noise which was why I brought it in. Now its a 2000 and
has only 59000 km on it. Isn't it abnormal for a wheel bearing to go that

Traded in 2000 Elantra and bought a new 2005 Elantra. Larger tire size
is better in new one. The 02 trans., had drive, 1, 2, reverse. 05 has
drive 1,2,3,reverse. They said the transmission has been upgraded

Are the transmissions better in the 05's than in the 2000's? I had one
replaced after 70000 it was covered. Now at 120000 I'm having problems
again.
