Scoupe wastegate solenoid23 Mar 2005 03:34 GMT1
I have a 1993 Scoupe turbo. The wastegate solenoid is either broken or
the hoses are connected incorrectly. When the solenoid is not
energized, the air that comes from the turbo is routed to the
wastegate resulting in low turbo pressure.
Cand someone read my Hyundai in Ottawa, Ontario?22 Mar 2005 23:12 GMT6
I'm looking for someone who can read the computer off my 2001 Hyundai Accent
GTi. I went to the dealership this morning and I was astonished at how much
they were asking to check my car! If you can recommend people that have
Hyundai specific readers, please post here.

99 Accent power drop - Worth checking codes?22 Mar 2005 19:24 GMT6
My 99 Accent is a bit sluggish but I haven't seen any check engine
light.  Did a fast check and found a loose air connector tube between
the air sensor and what passes for an intake manifold.  Tightened that
up and it runs better but still is not up to the old power level.
Warranty22 Mar 2005 06:51 GMT1
Can someone tell me what warranty limitations there are with the purchase of
a used Hyundai? For example if I buy an used 2003 Elantra with 50,000 miles,
how much warranty (if any) do I receive?

A problem i have noticed recently is that when my automatic trans shifts

Dumb Question:  Where?s the Fuse Box for 99 Sonata GLS?21 Mar 2005 23:33 GMT1
I bought this car 3 years ago and have been very pleased with it.  I
didn?t get the owners manual with the car and finally blew a fuse.  I
looked up under the dash but didn?t see the fuse box?  Did I just miss
it somehow or is it somewhere else and what does it look like?
Innova Code Reader first try21 Mar 2005 21:01 GMT14
Hyundaitech please copy.
Here's what happened with the Innova code reader that I bought
last week. It's on sale right now at Kragen and affiliated stores
for $100 (USD) after the rebate.
Has anyone had a problem with timing belt braking before 60,000 miles?21 Mar 2005 16:04 GMT1
Apparently you're supposed to get it changed every 4 years regardless of
mileage in order to protect the warranty.
Ugrade to Auto Climate Control20 Mar 2005 04:42 GMT5
I have a 2004 Sonata with manual climate control. The auto climate
control units have been showing up on Ebay for less than $100. Would it
be very feasible to replace the manual controls with auto controls? I
assume additional sensors, etc., would be required. Thanks.
Transmission fluid heads-up19 Mar 2005 19:40 GMT3
I just had a chat with Castrol about transmission fluid that
meets Hyundai spec for SP-IIM. Because this fluid is also used by
one or more additional brands of auto, I figured that it was only
a matter of time before it appeared on the open market.

1998 catalytic converter17 Mar 2005 18:22 GMT1
my daughter has a 1998 hyundai elantra and the catalytic converter is
bad. She just spent 1000 having a salvage motor in due a mechanic that
took the top off of the original motor and I think all that was wrong
was the o2 sensor and the converter. She is out of money and needs the
