My 98 Excel has about 99,000 km's or 60,000 miles on the clock. I'd like to change the oil and filter. I've been advised to use a semi-synthetic oil, with a grade of 15w40? Any recommended brand of oil and grade to use in this car?

I have plastic handle for the oil dipstick broken (Sonata 95, V6). I don't seem to be able to locate oil dipstick replacement part, though (I searched kragen and autozone). Can I use dipstick from another model? What other models have similar 3.0V6 (by Mitsubishi?)
