2001 Elantra overreving on startup.  Anyone else have problem?18 May 2005 21:24 GMT15
When I start my 2001 Elantra and it starts on the FIRST CRANK, it winds up
over 2500 rpm.
If I'm careful to crank it for a fraction of a second the first time, then,
when it starts, it only winds out to around 1600 or 1700.
2000 Tiburon Problem18 May 2005 18:33 GMT4
Problem: The RPM’s seem to be higher than normal and it fluctuates
from just over to 1000 from initial start up and then it fluctuates to
just about 200 RPMs when warmed up. Then when I drove the car and the
darn thing shuts off on me. Its idling too high.... Could this be a
04 Elantra GT - Price to rotate and balance tires, plus headlight bulb experiences18 May 2005 17:41 GMT5
I'm going to have my tires rotated and balanced as part of my 21k service
tomorrow (missed the 18k so playing catch up).  I've been offered $30 as
opposed to the normal $40, but just want to know if i'm being taken for a
ride as I get the oil change for free.

Engine quits working17 May 2005 23:21 GMT7
I have a 1995 Hyundai Sonata 6 cyl - it started where the engine would
intermittently turn over but not start.  If I left it for a couple of
minutes it would then turn over and start.  Recently it has been
taking the car at least 30-45 minutes for the engine to cool down
2001 tiburon starting problem17 May 2005 19:37 GMT3
recently it has not started for no apparent reason.  It turns over just
fine but it's as if there is no fuel or no ignition.  It's done this
several times now and sometimes if I activate the door locks and then try
to start it, it starts fine but this doesn't always work.  It's like ...

Rear power window on 2000 Elantra16 May 2005 17:47 GMT4
Well, my rear power window stopped going 'up and down'. I've worked on
these before (on other cars) and there's essentially a cable that makes it
move.  Besides scraping my hands up real bad, and getting all greasy, I was
unable to reattach it.

ugly clicking noise UPDATE (its dead)15 May 2005 20:51 GMT4
A few weeks ago I posted about my Santa Fe making an ugly noise.
