| Please Don't Run That New TV Ad To Boredum | 03 May 2005 15:49 GMT | 1 |
The new Hyundai ad I saw today on tv is pretty good. Imho, tv ads have a tendency to reverse psychology, when they get sickening from repetition, redundancy, reiteration, repeating Just a thought the marketers oughta consider in planning spot ads

| 2000 Sonata Dash Lights | 03 May 2005 15:00 GMT | 7 |
I have a 2000 Sonata and the dash illumination lights don't work. I'll pulled out most of the dash trying to trace the problem but no luck. All fuses are good but I don't show any power at the rheostat. The funning thing is that the ashtray light does work.

Feb 20, 05 I purchased a USED 2003 Santa Fe (from a reputable Nissan Dealer). First off - I know nothing about vehicles and was hoping the salesBOY (who no longer works there) did..well I was wrong...and that was ok - because I believed I was still getting a good deal...

| my weird engine rattle - SOLVED! | 02 May 2005 06:52 GMT | 3 |
Finally got my 01 Santa Fe GLS V6 into the shop... The sound I feared was cam related was apparently a bad idler on the timing belt tensioner. Much relief was had by all except the dealer mechanic who was probably hoping to make a lot more hours off this job.

| Forbe article on Hyundai | 01 May 2005 17:24 GMT | 3 |
Very interesting article on Hyundai. Still Hyundai has a nagging long term reliability question. But keep in mind, long term reliability do not show up until at least 3 years after the short term reliability. With that formula, I predict the year 2007 as the target date to see if

| $1300 for 60k mile service on an XG350? | 01 May 2005 16:59 GMT | 6 |
I was in the Hyundai shop yesterday for a warranty repair and the service manager noted the 55,000 miles and proceeded to try and sign me up for the 60,000 service package. I told him I was going to do my own maintenance and he tried very hard to explain how difficult it was... 5.5 ...

| 2003 Elantra | 01 May 2005 05:42 GMT | 2 |
I bought a used 03 Elantra from a non Hyundai dealer. There was no copy of the window sticker in the car and I have no idea who the previous owner was. There was an aftermarket remote starter installed on the car. The remote starts the car, and makes the lights flash once on lock ...
