i have a 1996 hyundai accent with the 1.5 doch my car is idling very low and the motor seems to cut out while accelerating the motor is smoking black smoke and the car is really hard on gas does anyone have any ideas ??

Anybody (hyundaitech ?) know how the 60,000 mile change interval came about for a timing belt (2002 XG350)? It has to be an odds thing, right? Something like 99.4% will not fail before 60,000 miles (and if they do Hyundai has to pay to repair the engine - so you know that number is ...

Im replacing the clutch in a 1998 tiberon. I was doing fine until I tried to seperate the trans. from the engine. The trans. comes off about an inch and then it springs back. Its like the snap ring on the pressure plate is pulling the trans. back. Does anyone know any tricks. ...

I just put in some used headlights for a 1996 Hyundai Accent. The brights work, but the regular headlights do not come on. I looked at the bulbs and the filaments seem to be ok. Any ideas as to what could be the problem?

when's a good time to replace o2 sensors? we have 140 000 kms, 0r 86 000 miles. whats the symptoms for replacement, would after market sensors be ok say from bosch etc since its a bosch management system in the accent any way..?
