Jerky Manual Accent--Ignition Misfire?30 Nov 2005 20:32 GMT2
I have a 2000 Manuel 2-door Hyundai Accent that's been jerking violently at the low ends of lower gears (and occasionally higher ones, even less occasionally idle). The check engine light flashes on and off sometimes, but on the higher end of the gear, the car seems to "catch" ...
Brake-lights suddenly stopped working..30 Nov 2005 17:52 GMT1
The brake-lights have suddenly stopped working on my sonata 93. There
is a warning light for it too, which lights. Is it a bad fuse (I
checked the fuse-box under the hood, but couldn't find the fuse for it,
or any bad fuses at all).

I bought my Santa fe new in 2002 and had the full treatment - tinting,
paint treatment, interior protection (by Ming Australia).
I noticed that the black dome in the centre of the dash that covers the
vents appeared a little soft and sticky but thought it was just the

When you are involved in a hit and run, (ie someone hit me and ran) do you

I'm trying to replace the rear pads on my sister's 99 Elantra
and am running into a problem trying to get the top and bottom springs
off. I'm trying with a needle nose pliers but as soon as they grip
onto the spring, they slip off. I've tried to wedge a flathead
having an odd eletrical problem.28 Nov 2005 17:53 GMT4

at least full power. I was wondering if there is a way to check it
officially.

Windshield Wipers28 Nov 2005 17:51 GMT2
At the risk of setting the record for the stupidest question, but here goes.
On a 2004 Elantra, it appears that in order to change the windshield wiper
blades, one has to change the entire arm assembly.  It appears that the
blade part itself is riveted onto the arm.  Or else my ...
tire + life28 Nov 2005 16:51 GMT1
Just curious what the average life expectancy is for the tires on a 2004
Elantra are, approximate mileage?  I know there are alot of factors that go
into this, but say your average driver with average wear and tear.
Thanks,
