I am looking into buying one of the two mentioned models.
I am disturbed that Elantra does not have the option of ABS at all. Is that
a problem? I know usually smaller cars don't have the ABS, but I found it
useful on my Civic.

I bought a year end 2004 Sonata sedan v4. Test drove it around a huge
parking lot and some side streets but not in city traffic. First week
into the purchase  I noticed a bad vibration through the seats and the
stearing wheel when the car is braked or parked and running. It's very

brought it in for the 30,000 mile service to the dealer.  During that time
they told me I needed new brake pads and rotors, plus two new tires.  At the

claustrophobia set in when I got behind the wheel.  Never drove it,
the Civic was that tight for me.  Now if Hyundai CD players just
played mp3's.
