Appreciate any info on correlating engine rpm with mph for my 2003 Accent. What I am interesting in is a good safe "high" rpm for climbing hills before shifting into the next gear (manual transmission). Perhaps someone with a tach could respond.

Just wanted to let the group know that Hyundai has fixed this problem. Don't expect the dealer to volunteer details on this...according to my work order, the parts alone were listed in excess of $1,000.00. The dash controller and the cruise control were replaced, so the labor is

Have an 03 Accent automatic 2 dr, had it since new and it just turned 42,000 miles and the best fuel economy I can get out of it is 30 mpg more like 28 on a regular basis and this is not acceptable to me, Any ideas-tricks what ever to get this thing to drink less!

I've heard that once you reach a certain mileage, it is better to keep the original transmission fluid instead of changing it.. Is this true? If so, when is it "too late" to change the auto transmission fluid? (in relation to what's best for the engine, not warranty)
