97 Elantra and Code P045526 Jan 2006 17:19 GMT2
I have a 97 Hyundai Elantra with a 1.8 DOHC motor with 150K miles on
it.  I am getting ODB2 error code P0455 and the check light is on.  I
am using a carchip from davisnet.com to read the codes.  I have reset
the light once but it came back on in like three days or so, about 100

Transmission Flush25 Jan 2006 13:46 GMT20
Went for winter checkup (01 Hyundai Elantra GT) at firestone and came back
with a "strong" recommendation to do transmission flush.
Went to a quick oil change place and did a $79.99 Automatic Transmission
Flush.
Headlights on 2006 Sonata25 Jan 2006 02:46 GMT26
I mentioned in an earlier post that I have a problem with the headlights on
my 06 Sonata GLS. Basically, it came from the factory with the headlights so
high, it blinded (verified by me driving towards it in another vehicle,
while my wife was driving it) oncoming traffic. Anyway, ...
Who's good for Hyundai Parts on line?25 Jan 2006 01:04 GMT3
Would prefer Canadian location but OK with US if they ship to Canada.
Looking for brake parts & emission control filter etc. The dealer is about
2 1/2 hours away (if you catch the ferry!)
Thanks,
Switch Question24 Jan 2006 17:03 GMT5
I have a 2006 Elantra GLS sedan and noticed an underhood pushbutton
interlock switch that has an unknown function.  It's located directly
to the left of the power steering fluid reservoir, and is depressed by
a rubber extension located on the left underside of the hood.  Is this
2006 Sonata traction control vs 4WD?23 Jan 2006 21:00 GMT21
Anyone have experience yet with how the traction control in the 2006
Sonata actually performs in the snow? We are considering the purchase
of a new Hyundai vehicle, and are actually looking to replace an older
4-wheel-drive car (AMC Eagle) that was recently totalled in an

2006 Elantra23 Jan 2006 02:34 GMT7
Anyone have one of these yet?  Your thoughts/comments.
Most of the discussion lately has been on the Sonata.  I don't need
that much car anymore and would just like to hear any comments on the
Elantra.
Paint lines on fasteners23 Jan 2006 02:26 GMT1
Anyone here know what all the paint lines across virtually all the fasteners
on my 2006 Sonata are? Did a human go and check for existence / torque after
the robots got done? Or. did another robot follow up on the first robot, and
the pain proves it looked?
How much better is the '06 Sonata?20 Jan 2006 14:53 GMT58
As noted in a previous post, Hyundai Sonata has captured my interest
with the great reviews and impressive equipment list on its re-designed
'06 model. It looks and sounds so good on paper that I am thinking
about buying one.
Traction control/ABS 2002 SantaFe19 Jan 2006 23:17 GMT5
I have been having an ongoing problem with the TCS/ABS on my 2002
SantaFe. First the dash warning lights would not go out. The local
Hyundai dealer replaced a sensor. When the lights came back on a few
months later the dealer said I had a broken tone ring and replaced the
MP3/WMA Player- 06 Sonata19 Jan 2006 22:55 GMT1
Just to let you all know that the 6 cd player/changer in the 06 Sonata WILL
play WMA's and mp3's even though it is not mentioned in the owners manual or
on the radio itself. I assume the single cd player will too.

2001 Sonata 4 cyl. heater problem.19 Jan 2006 22:00 GMT11
We are experiencing a loss of heat after driving 45 minutes. The dealer
can't find the problem. Any similar experiences out there? Any
correlation between using the wipers and the heat problem.
