'06 Sonata electronic throttle19 Jan 2006 21:26 GMT14
A question for hyundaitech:  Is there any adjustments possible to the
electronic throttle?  Mine is way too sensitive and has too little
tactile (footile?  :-) ) feedback.  Can the gain/slope on this be
changed?  Can a stiffer spring be put on it?

New 2006 Hyundai Tucson, $18,900, good deal?19 Jan 2006 08:14 GMT1
I haggled with a dealer last night for awhile because I need to buy a
new car since my 96 Toyota Rav 4 was totally in an accident last
Thursday.  I got him down to $20,588.00 up until the minute I was
walking out the door, and then he knocked it down to $18,995.  This is
2001 Hyundai 4 cyl. Sonata steering problem18 Jan 2006 22:24 GMT9
We are having an occasional problem with steering while turning. Once
in a while it seems that the power steering cuts out during a turn and
it becomes difficult to turn the wheel. It responds again after I make
the turn. The dealer can not find the problem. Any similar experiences?

Sloshing Sound from Gas Tank-2006 Sonata18 Jan 2006 19:28 GMT8
When coming to a stop, we hear gas sloshing back and forth in our new
4 cyl. GLS. I didn't hear this in my test drives, but do now. Anyone
have the same problems and any insights into a fix?   Johnboy
06 Sonata cruise control undocumented feature18 Jan 2006 17:29 GMT6
I was wondering if anyone else had discovered this.  In my owner's
manual, I see no reference to a "tap" feature for the cruise control.
It talks about holding down the accel or decel buttons to change the
target speed, but I don't see anything about tapping the buttons for
2006 Sonata GL 5-speed stick fuel mileage18 Jan 2006 13:30 GMT8
Well, I've got three tanks under my belt now and the results are 27, 29
and 27 again.  This is for 70-80% highway driving and 20-30% city, if
you call the towns I drive through cities (I live in rural northcentral
PA).  My cruising speeds have been 55-60.
'02 Accent Radiator drain plug18 Jan 2006 03:08 GMT2
I was looking through the technical service manual but the diagrams
neglected to point out where the drain plug is.  Can anyone give me an
idea where it's located?
2002 accent fuel filter location!!!???17 Jan 2006 18:48 GMT9
I read that the 2000 model fuel filter is located inside the tank.  I am
under the impression Hyundai re-designed these cars after 2000.  Just where
in the heck is the FUEL FILTER on these things??  Owners manual is useless
and no company has produced a maintenance/repair manual ...
99 accent seatbelt latch17 Jan 2006 13:03 GMT9
well our red button on our cars seatbelt latch will not pop back up on its
own anymore, thought I was stuck in the car today =)
It feels like it's sticking, is there anything i could use to free it up or
you think i have to just replace the latch?
timing belt or timing chain?17 Jan 2006 01:58 GMT21
I was reading an earlier thread about when to change out the timing belt.
Please excuse my ignorance...I am not a Hyundai owner yet but am seriously
considering the Tucson or Sante Fe.  I thought most new cars nowadays used
timing chains, which I heard can last forever.
