Dim Headlights on a 02 Santa Fe30 Mar 2006 18:53 GMT9
Ok..Let me know if anyone has a clue on this one.  My daughter has been
complaining about her headlights not being quite bright enough, so I marched
out with my trusty voltmeter and checked it out.  The negative (pink with
white line) wire to the bulbs is sitting at 1.5 volts ...

03 Elantra GT Timing Belt30 Mar 2006 00:29 GMT2
I have been reading here about changing the timing belt at 4 years to
keep the warranty in effect. I checked my manual and it says 60,000
miles with no reference to # of years. Am I missing something?
Also, as long as we are on the subject...does the belt HAVE to be done
2000 elantra front wheel bearing replacement29 Mar 2006 17:32 GMT7
I undertook the job of replacing the front wheel bearing on my wife's
2000 Elantra.  I have use of a press.  I have the spindle assembly(hub
with rotor attached) off the car now, but I'm not sure of a few things.
1.  How to remove the snap ring that retains the bearing.  I tried
Door Adjustment---2006 Sonata29 Mar 2006 17:05 GMT4
I just noticed my driver's side door stands out almost 1/16" from the B
post. Looking at the passenger side, it's dead flush, as are both rear
doors.
I looked at the "U" shaped latch located on the post, and there appears to
Elantra Motor Oil Query29 Mar 2006 15:23 GMT1
I recently bought a 2006 Elantra GLS, and the recommended oil in the
Owner's Manual is 5W-20, with 5W-30 and 10W-30 listed as acceptable
substitutes depending upon ambient air temperatures. Now, I know all of
the previous discussions regarding the pro's and con's of each

the graphics will display, only the place holder icon.  Anyone know what
may be the problem?

brake squeal question28 Mar 2006 23:54 GMT7
I've noticed a brake squeal in the rear of my 2000 Sonata but it only
seems to happen the first couple of times applying the brakes after the
car has been sitting. After driving for a while, the squeal is not
there. The brakes seem to work fine as well.
Schematic wire color legend for Hyundai Service online manual 28 Mar 2006 04:45 GMT3
I can't seem to find the Color Codes for the wiring in the schematics from
the www.hmaservice.com web page.  They are marked with codes like 2.0B or
0.3G but
there doesn't seem to be any legend for what that means.  That would be very
