Mr. Hyundaitech question19 Sep 2006 14:57 GMT6
My Hyundai has indications of sludge on the oil cap. I change oil every
5000 - 8000 miles, but may have gone 9000 once. Could the 1 longer stretch
be the cause of this? Why am I getting this sludge and what can I do about
it.
2002-Accent heat protector plate falling off.19 Sep 2006 12:44 GMT6
This small plate on the front of the engine surrounding the oxygen sensor
has started to rattle and is threatening to fall off due to the rust
occurring around the bolt holes holding it on.  I have tried to remove the
bolts but they are seized on pretty good, so I asked the dealer ...
2002 Hyundai Accent - Dash Light problems18 Sep 2006 18:01 GMT2
The 2002 Hyundai Accent's dash lights do not work properly. In the
evenings when the headlights are turned on the dash lights may turn on
too; however, after an unspecified amount of time the dashlights will
turn off. This only affects the instrument panel behind the steering

I recently sold my 2005 Elantra and bought a 2006 Santa Fe.  I had put
a trailer hitch on the Elantra for my bicycle rack so when I sold it I
took it off and would like to sell it.  Any Advice on where to list it?
Tried Ebay without results and Craigs List.  Any other advice?
2006 Sonata Rear Suspension Noise--SOLVED.18 Sep 2006 02:57 GMT9
Below is a quote from a Web forum member. It sounds plausible, and I
take it as very good news to K-Thunk sufferers!
"My K-thunk is gone...... Today was probably my 6th trip to the dealer
about the K-thunk. Hyundai told them to install a rubber bushing on
Remote starter on a Sonata?18 Sep 2006 01:58 GMT6
I've been doing a little research for an upcoming car purchase.  Last night
I looked at Hyundai for the first time.  It has an impressive list of
standard features and seems to be a good value.  One option not offered is a
remote starter.  I hate to take a brand new car to some ...
My first Hyundai- 2006 V6 Sonata- my thoughts17 Sep 2006 13:12 GMT21
I purchased a brand new 2006 Sonata with the 3.3L V6/ auto trans in
May.
I traded my 1997 Honda Accord (I4, 5pd manual) with 167,000 miles.
Just over 3,700 mostly highway (80%+) miles later, I wanted to check in
H100 Handbrake sudden downward resistance question16 Sep 2006 09:16 GMT1
Today my handbrake give an unexpected resistance while placing it in
the downward position. After wiggling it up and down a few times the

I do not notice any difference while driving, but I still need to push

Left work today and used the remote to unlock the doors on my 2005

Upon arriving home I had to manually close the sunroof, the elctronic
locks didn't work using the switch on the drivers side armrest, and I
Sonata oil filter14 Sep 2006 00:22 GMT10
I changed my oil in my 2006 Sonata and used a Bosch OEM filter I bought over
the internet from a Hyundai dealer.  It doesn't have the valve in the bottom
of the filter like the Hyundai filter did that I removed.  An earlier post
said the valve kept the oil from draining out of ...

touchy gas pedal13 Sep 2006 01:30 GMT9
Hello all, I have a 04 Sante Fe with the 3.5 V6 and 44,000 miles.  In the
past few months, the car has developed a peculiar problem.  At times, when
moderately accelerating from a stop, the car will take off like I've put my

2006 Tucson Horn Location?12 Sep 2006 22:29 GMT3
I know - it's a strange question, but I'd like to know exactly where
they hide the horns on this vehicle, and how to get at them. I've got
this great looking black SUV that has horns that sound like they came
off a 2-stroke dirt bike! I'd like to replace them.
