2006 Sonata 4Cyl Cabin Air Filter Maintenance12 Sep 2006 13:36 GMT8
Am I reading the maintenance schedule correctly? I interpret the
scheduled maintenance to be 12 months or 10K miles , whichever comes
first? Seems relatively frequent to replace an air conditioner filter.
Also, it is quite expensive.  Another opinion would be welcome. Thanks

Please list the possibilities of where the problem may be:
It usually starts on the third time.
Occasionally on the second time if it's warm.
A new fuel pump didn't solve the starting problem.

I have a 97Elantra wagon which has trouble starting about once a week.
If I tap the underneath of the  gastank while turning the key,it will
usually fire up right away.
However, one day this week it wouldn't start  at all. Strangly, the
2003 Elantra - headlight coating coming off11 Sep 2006 15:36 GMT4
I've been noticing lately that there's a coating on the headlight lens that
has begun to come off.  Can the coating be renewed or does the lens need to
be replaced?  Warranty coverage?  It's not really a problem yet, but I'm
looking down the road.
Elantra modifications11 Sep 2006 12:07 GMT1
After doing a search on eBay, I found quite a few parts for a DIYer to
modify their Elatras. I was wondering if anyone had any insights to some of
them for example, the air intake mod....is supposed to give a 10hp increase
in addition to a small increase of fuel efficiency.

Does anyone know the location of the power outlet relay on the 2005 Santa
Fe?  It may be the same relay that turns on the cigarette lighter also. I
don't know where it is either.
Thanks,
Know of a LED compatable replacement flasher/relay for 2006 Sonata?10 Sep 2006 13:30 GMT22
I got some LED replacement lamps for the turn signals, but of course now
they flash fast due to the change in load.
I was curious if anyone knew of a replacement, plug-n-play flasher/relay to
replace the stock one.
Acceptable production to delivery time period?10 Sep 2006 02:12 GMT9
Took delivery of my shiny new Sonata 3.3L today.
Looked under the hood, and the aluminium engine was covered with white
corrosion spots. So I'm thinking, how old is this car.
Bearing in mind I took delivery on the 1st Sept, the car was produced 15th

Changing ATF on 2001 Sonata09 Sep 2006 02:15 GMT4
It seems I have a ATF filter top side easy to reach and a drain plug at the
bottom of trans case , It requires what they call sp3 fluid. So why does
Goodyear want 89.95 labor and 8.00 shop towel fee for no more then
changing your motor oil? Whats the deal. Taters

Please help me identify this engine part!07 Sep 2006 11:43 GMT11
I hope someone can help me. Today while driving my 1991 Hyundai Excel,
when turning the wheel left or right it was very difficult, and very
noisy. I was close to home so I drove home. After an hour or so I
checked on the car. There was a huge leak of power steering fluid under
