Wheels/Snow Tires27 Oct 2006 22:20 GMT45
I would like to put a set of mounted snows on my '05 Elantra GT using
OEM replacement steel wheels.  Will these (stock on the non-GT Elantra)
steel wheels fit the GT model without any clearance issues?  Also, does
anyone have a suggestion (other than the dealer) for finding steel
How much should I pay?27 Oct 2006 15:57 GMT14
I just read the "How much did you pay?" thread above and it really started
me thinking.  I just found this newsgroup yesterday and I'm learning a lot
fast.
I need to buy another car and after checking around have pretty much come
Familiar refrain of HyundaiTech...Please Help filters in from afar.27 Oct 2006 02:40 GMT12
Strangest experience happened to my wife in her '06 Sonata V6/LX.
Caveat, mind you, she called her in-house tech support (*me*) after the fact
and the car only duplicated 1 out of 3 symptoms with me driving.
When she got in the car to pick up the kids this afternoon, the check ...
Gauge/Horn issue. 07 Accent - Hyundaitech please help!26 Oct 2006 23:37 GMT2
Have an 07 Accent 3dr. Was driving down the road at approx 80kph.
Beeped the horn in a few (4-6) short blasts and the Parking Brake light
came on and all gauges (gas, speed, temp, revs) reset to zero and
quickly returned to the position they should be in. I've been able to
2002 Hyundia XG350 fuel fillup problems26 Oct 2006 23:05 GMT5
Our 2002 XG350 (65000 miles) has developed a VERY annoying and time
consuming challenge.  We can’t set the fill handle on the gas hose
when we fill up.  We have to slowly trickle fuel in or the pump will
shut off.

Excel revs too high26 Oct 2006 05:08 GMT2
I recently bought a manual 2000 Excel Sprint. It runs ok, except when
the engine is warm the revs stay high after I put my foot on the clutch
- eg. when approaching traffic lights.
It takes several seconds before the revs start to drop, and after 10
Power steering on 2004 Santa Fe 4WD 3.5L26 Oct 2006 02:57 GMT5
I just bought a 2004 Santa Fe LX 4WD 35L with 22,560 miles, leather seats
etc. for $14,300 plus tax and tags.
My question is about the steering.  It feels like it steers like a truck
even though it has power steering.  I can steer it, but it just seems like
Touchy steering -- 2004 Santa Fe 3.5L25 Oct 2006 05:17 GMT5
I'm looking to buy a used car, most likely a Hyundai Santa Fe or Tucson.
Yesterday, I did a test drive an a Hyundai dealership on a 2004 Santa Fe
with a 3.5L engine.  Everything seemed fine except for what I call "touchy
steering".  I can't remember what the correct term is, but ...
Santa Fa heater/ac backlight bulb replacement25 Oct 2006 03:53 GMT3
I have a 2003 Santa Fe.  Recently I noticed the backlight on the heater/ac
panel was dark on one side.  Removing the panel, I found it has two small
light bulbs that insert into the back of it.  I thought they might be LED's,
but the working one gets too hot to be a LED, so I ...
2.9CRDi Engine (Kia)24 Oct 2006 18:21 GMT1

The Kia site for technical inform. provides only petrol engine details,
since the diesel is not yet available in USA.
2002 Accent headlight bulb replacement24 Oct 2006 18:18 GMT2
This is my first time on this forum.  How do I remove the rubber dust
cover on the back of the headlight assembly to get access to the bulb.
I can fold  the boot back, but I can't remove it. There isn't much room
to manuever on the left side because the battery is in the way.  Whats

1993 Sonata Anti Theft Radio21 Oct 2006 15:37 GMT8
The car sat with dead battery and now the anti-theft radio wants me to
input "code" before it will work.
The code is in so safe a place I have no idea where it is.
Is there a way to get it reset or am I better off just to buy a new
Hyundai Warranty Contract20 Oct 2006 14:28 GMT15
Could anyone who owns NEW Hyundai quote a part of dealer contract,
where warranty is described? Especially the part with the cases where
the warranty automatically ended due to customer's violations.
I ask that because in my country, Ukraine, Hyundai dealers have one of
