I am considering buying a used 2006 Sonata. Any idea where I can
download a brochure? I have fond them for a 2007 Sonata but not for a

Hello All
Does anyone know where this is? Hyundaitech?
Yesterday for the first time the readout was clearly incorrect since it was
reading a steady 60 deg.F while the outside temperature was clearly over 72
2006 SONATA 3.3L PCM REPROGRAMMING16 Dec 2006 18:56 GMT3
I have a 2006 Sonata that was made in August, 2005. I've noticed that there
is supposed to be a PCM update that seems to apply to my vehicle. The TSB
says "From the beginning VIN of 2006 Sonata production ~October 20, 2005"
which my vehicle falls into. I bought the car last ...
in glass antenna amplifier on '07 sonata? no am reception16 Dec 2006 17:12 GMT7
I've installed a Pioneer CD receiver in my '07 Hyundai Sonata and it
works great, but now I have very poor to no AM reception, and I live in
the SF Bay Area with plenty of powerful stations around.
I'm guessing the in-glass antenna has some sort of amplifier, but I
Squealing Belts15 Dec 2006 20:54 GMT1
Within the year I had my timing belt, the power steering belt and
possibly some other belt changed.  Now when it is cold outside and I
start the car, there's a horrible squealing that comes from under the
hood that lasts about a minute.  I don't recall this doing it before
Hyundai Tech - How do you replace the center brake light bulb?15 Dec 2006 02:20 GMT11
Trying to figure out how to get access to the center mounted brake light
bulb on a 2006-2007 Sonata.  I see a connector under the rear shelf in the
trunk area but the socket with the bulb appears to be inaccessable from
underneath.

99 Elantra drum shoe noise14 Dec 2006 22:22 GMT1
I replaced the rear shoes on my sister's 99 Elantra and
noticed the squeaking noise coming from the back after a few weeks. I
re-opened and cleaned the drum and parts with brake cleaner but the
noise is still persisting. I was reading that I can place some anti
Replaced head unit14 Dec 2006 19:34 GMT9
About a week ago I ordered a replacement head unit for my 2006 Sonata from
Crutchfield.  I was really tired of having a seperate control for my Sirius
radio and listening to it through an FM transmitter was less than
acceptable quality.  So my head unit has Sirius built in, and ...
2003 Santa Fe14 Dec 2006 17:57 GMT3
I have been noticing that my 2003Santa Fe makes a dieseling sound when
I accelerate on the gas especially around 35 to 45 miles an hour. This
also happens when I drive up a hill. The car has nearly 57,000 miles
on it. I was wondering what this possibly could be. Beyond this
Battery Drain XG35014 Dec 2006 04:03 GMT9
This has been happening to my 2002 XG350 since i purchased it new.  The
original went dead 18 months and had to replaced with an "upgraded" one at
the dealer.  This "upgrade" one lasted about another 18 months.  Then I
purchased a $110.00 Sears Diehard  which died just short of 1 ...

I have a 1999 hyundai accent. Headlight and the rear stop light (the
rear windsheild lamp) bulbs don't seem to be working.
1) I haven't been able to figure out how to remove the rear stop light
bulb. Do I open the lamp assembly? If so, I removed the screws, but the
