Does anyone know if any of the new Hyundai's uses the CAN OBD II protocol? I thought my 2007 Sonata did but my scan tool seems to be telling me its KWP2000. Its difficult to tell because they whip by so fast but it looks like KWP is the last one tested. It does show the VIN ...

I have 2000 Elantra sedan. This winder the temperature dropped below 5 degree Celsius. All doors are frozen solid. I tried all sort of things to spray inside the locks, but with no avail. It freezes somewhere inside the door, not in the lock cavity.

They are charging a lot for the pump.... think it should be replaced at 60 k miles? I am not the original owner. I have heard some say that a new timing belt (some vehicles) strains the bearnings in the water pump and it is good to replace it. Thoughts, anyone?
