I have an 05 Accent with 35000 miles and it has recently developed
5th gear pop out. The car has not been abused and all maintnance is up
to date. It happens in 5th gear when decelerating at any speed. The

Subject car is a 2002 Elantra, 2.0l, 5spd manual. ~70k
Major complaint is severe clutch slippage.
Tonight I helped the owner pull the transaxle out of the car.
Unfortuantely I was unable to manuver the transaxle out of the car

While driving home last night my check engine light came on. The code is
P0449 (Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Valve/Solenoid Circuit
Malfunction). I've noticed for the last 2 weeks while filling the gas tank
the gas nozzle keeps resetting. You have to constantly reset ...

hi, i recently bought a 2003 accent with 98,000 miles. i don't know the
history on the car but i'm wondering what is the recommended mileage to
change the timing belt? and is it costly?

I seem to recall a previous post about a similar problem earlier but I
can't seem to find it. I have of late noticed that as soon as I start
the car (2006 Sonata V6) in the morning it revs up to 2k rpm then
settles down to around 1200 for a while. Doesn't go below 1000 for a

I replaced the stock stereo with a Pioneer unit, but it doesn't work
with the steering wheel controls. Crutchfield sells a PAC interface,
but it's only compatible with an '06 Sonata. Has anyone successfully
installed an interface to allow the steering wheel control to work in
