I have 2002 Accent hatchback with 4500.00 on it want to change automatic
ttansmission fluid. I been told that if I do that my transmission fluid will

2001 Accent, oil pump dying after 60K miles18 Jun 2007 22:34 GMT2
Hey all.
First of all let me preface this by saying I am not a car guy.  The
last four-wheeled vehicle I owned was an early-70's Volvo 164, back in
'93.  Since then I've only owned motorcycles, and generally do the
attn Hyundaitech: fan noise18 Jun 2007 19:17 GMT4
Hyundaitech,
Is it possible to get at and clean the fans that blow the A/C or heat
through the vents on my 02 Sonata GLS? I've noticed in the past year
that it sounds like mine are either gunked up or there is some
Hyundaitech, Re: 2006 Elantra sun roof18 Jun 2007 18:01 GMT1
Thank you for your assistance. I took it to the local dealer and they
informed me, as you stated, that the roof is designed to take on the
moisture that I had been experiencing. However, it does appear that the roof
sits a little low on one end and it was suggested that I have this ...
Hyundaitech, Passenger restraint system18 Jun 2007 17:44 GMT3
I have a question regarding the passenger front air bag system in the 2006
Hyundai Elantra. It is my understanding that passengers under a certain body
weight will cause the air bag to deactivate. However, I have a friend who is
just under 90 pounds and oftentimes while she is in ...
2006 Elantra sun roof18 Jun 2007 13:54 GMT4
I may be a little overly critical here, but I am noticing a little moisture
coming in through the sun roof  after a hard rain on my newly purchased
Elantra. It's really not a lot of water and certainly not enough of an
accumulation to drip onto the interior of the car. However, is ...

"salvaged" title is  the factory warranty still valid on the car?

Power outlet17 Jun 2007 17:59 GMT12
Is there any way short of rewiring the car to get the power outlet in the
center console of a 2006 Sonata to remain powered with the ignition off???
What was Hyundai thinking?  There is also a cigarette lighter on the console
which turns off as expected, but the  power outlet ...
Any plans for a Hyundai Hybrid?17 Jun 2007 13:31 GMT1
I currently own a 2002 Hyundai Accent. I've looked at the cost of the
Toyota Prius (about $40,000 Australian) and the Honda Civic Hybrid
(about $33,000 Australian). Does Hyundai have any plans for a hybrid?
I'm looking at keeping my car for another one or two years before
Entourage CEL16 Jun 2007 18:48 GMT4
My wife got a CEL on her way home last night from work.  She called me
immediately and asked if she should pull over.  She had no performance
issues so I told her to drive home.  When she did, I checked and the gas
cap, while on, was very loose.  I tightened it and now we'll wait ...
Cabin Air Filter16 Jun 2007 17:55 GMT4
Has anyone with a early 2003 Sonata (built pre 3/29/03) changed their cabin
air filter?  I just tried today and could not get the nut off of the stud
behind the glove box latch. I had no trouble removing the glove box itself
but this is when I tried to remove the glove box ...
06 Sonata GLS timing tensioner serviced, now alarm doesn't arm15 Jun 2007 15:54 GMT1
Had my 2006 Sonata GLS in for what I thought was lifter noise.  Dealer
said it was actually timing tensioner(s) and replaced it/them.  This
is supposed to be a known issue with the Lambda V6.  Anyone else heard
this???
