New 2007 Sante Fe owner - a few questions?31 Jul 2007 23:48 GMT6
Purchased this car for mileage to replace a gas hogging Durango 5.9L so
already I'm ahead.
I have a few questions that some other owners may be able to answer for me
because the manual is quite vague:
whine sound when pressing accelerator--Elantra 0231 Jul 2007 18:11 GMT4
I had so much luck with my last question (about the rearview window
rattle) that I'm going to go for broke and try to get an answer to
another question :)
In my '02 Elantra VE, when I step on the gas, I'm starting to hear a
2004 Accent Oil Change31 Jul 2007 17:56 GMT2
What is the oil capacity for the 2004 Accent?  Also any hints about doing
the oil change.  Sisters car and she has had changes done at dealer, want to
start doing it for her with Mobil 1.  I presume the location of filter etc
is similar to my 2002 Elantra 4cyl.
2001 Accent Power Loss -- Help!!31 Jul 2007 16:32 GMT2
My daughter has a 2001 Accent with almost 160k miles on it.  For the
last couple of months, the engine has had some major issues.  It
starts and idles ok, but when the clutch is engaged, it loses power
and stalls.  Once it warms up, it does a little better, but still
Choice of Hyundai vs Forester31 Jul 2007 00:45 GMT15
Good morning everyone,
I'm planning on buying either a new Hyundau Tucson SX (V6 2.7 Litre, Auto
Transmission) or a Subaru Forrester (base model Auto).  I am leaning
towards the Hyundai as they are offering what, to me seems a better deal,
Hyundaitech, Passenger restraint system30 Jul 2007 17:19 GMT1
Back in June, a user SBCYAHOO posted this subject regarding their 06
Elantra.  I've posted about this several times before - so you aren't
alone.
My 06 Sonata LX has the same issue, yet, I can never get this to
03 Elantra front disk pads30 Jul 2007 13:29 GMT12
I believe I saw somewhere that the caliper piston has to be screwed back
into the caliper on some cars instead of just pushing it back??? Haven't
changed disk pads in a few years, back then just pushed the piston back
into the caliper!! Do I need a special tool if this is the case?
Help - Fender damage during  replacement of tensioners on 06 Sonata29 Jul 2007 20:35 GMT7
Can someone like hyundaitech help give me something close to the shortest
time needed to replace timing chain tensioners in an 06 Sonata plus do an
oil change?  A Hyundai dealer here in Rochester, NY had the car in for two
days for the repair and the day after getting it back I ...
97 Tiburon28 Jul 2007 17:07 GMT1
I am looking at a cylinder head on ebay. My tib has a 1.8 L engine. The head
is from a 99 elantra 2.0 L; the seller says "The only casting numbers on
this head are 10C 2.0L 1.8L". Can anyone tell me if this will fit my car? I
thought that the 1.8 and 2.0 heads were the same. Haven't ...

2007 Sonata 4 cylinder Automatic
I have noticed that the engine is revving at about 2500 RPM at 120
km/h (about 75 MPH). It seems a little high to me. I believe, but
can't be sure, that our previous Hyundai, a 2004 Elantra, ran at about
05 Elantra GT Rear Disk Brakes Question26 Jul 2007 15:24 GMT22
Generally speaking, how long should the rear brake pads last? I am
fully aware that it depends on driver etc, but am curious. I changed
the front pads at 18K, car now has 21000. I also have an 03, rear
brakes are still going strong at 35K. I know in the old days of drum
Elantra 2000, timing belt replacement26 Jul 2007 03:21 GMT6
Hi - I need to replace my timing belt. I want to know if it's very
difficult to do it by myself. I already replaced my timing belt on a
previous car, it was a volkswagen fox. I don't found it much difficult
with the proper tools and information. I need to know if there is
Entourage Accident25 Jul 2007 17:00 GMT13
Came home from a vacation to Ocean City, MD, today.  Long story short is
that I got plowed by a tractor trailer on Rt. 13 in Delaware.  He claims he
couldn't see me.  The only way I could believe that is if his eyes were
closed.
2004 Hyundai Elantra GT - Piston in Caliper for rear brakes will not compress24 Jul 2007 17:26 GMT4
I own a 2004 Hyundai Elantra GT.  I was changing my rear brake pads
and could not get the piston to compress.  I tried using a C-Clamp and
it would'nt budge.  Do I need a special tool, is there a trick, what
am I missing?

2007 Sonata
Today, I was standing under an overhang at a local Walmart, looking
out at an incredibly fierce thunderstorm that was blowing through. The
rain was torrential, and was mixed with a little hail. I  knew I was
