I have the V-6 Sonata, 2004, with 30,000 miles. The dealer said my

Stalling in 2002 Sonata22 Jul 2007 15:30 GMT6
Hey all, I have a 2002 Sonata with ~70k miles on it.  Lately it's been
trying to stall at idle in the heat.  I made an appointment at the
dealership, but they can't see me til next Monday.  It is idling low (closer
to 600RPM) at times, although at other times the idle is normal.

Hyundaitech, I'm coming up on my 60k service interval for the 2005
Tucson v6.  I've gotten conflicting info from a few of the local Hyundai
dealerships on what needs to be done at this interval.
I need to do the suggested "normal" work (oil change, tranny/radiator
Warped rotors on 02 Sonata - any ideas?19 Jul 2007 03:35 GMT10

WAS: 05 Elantra GT Rear Disk Brakes Question18 Jul 2007 14:20 GMT11
Just to update and thank all those that responded and helped.
OK, last night I changed the rear pads. I took it for a quick test
drive. No question it is better. I would say that it is close to where
it was when new. The pedal is still lower than I think it should be,
attn: Hyundaitech - Timing Belt for 2002 Sonata 2.7L17 Jul 2007 14:45 GMT3
Hyundaitech,
Do you have any recommendations for timing belts from aftermarket
vendors? I'm going to be getting mine replaced pretty soon so I am
curious if there are any good or bad ones.
new toy --  Navigation17 Jul 2007 11:41 GMT13
I thought the GPS navigations systems were nifty, but could not justify
spending hundreds of dollars for it.  I've been driving for 46 years using
my senses and maps and I've managed to find my house every time.
So, given a $500 gift certificate to an electronics store by my ...

2004 Santa Fe Smoke/Burning Smell16 Jul 2007 17:54 GMT1
When sitting in a parking lot waiting for my wife for approx 5 mins, I
had the car engine off, but the vent/AC was in the on position.  I
then started the car after 5 mins to get the A/C cold again.  At that
point I noticed a burning electrical type smell and small amount of
