06 Sonata cabin air filter -how the !@#$ do you get it out?29 Nov 2007 00:48 GMT2
Trying to change the cabin air filter in my 06 Sonata... three of the
four black plastic clips on the filter frame have all broken off in
the process of trying to pull out the old filter.  And the fourth one
is hanging by a thread.
2008 Sonata27 Nov 2007 02:00 GMT2
Ok, got suckered in by the latest DUH sale. Traded in the 06 LX for an
08 SE. Yeah! Finally got my spolier and XM without modifying the
factory stereo. Going back this week to get my aftermarket grille
swapped back into the new one.
Radio with Apple iPod connection27 Nov 2007 00:43 GMT2
I have a Sonata 06 GLS with the normal CD/Radio.
Since I live in LA it's almost impossible to find an empty FM frequence for
my iPod FM transmitter.
Does anyone know about another radio that contains an iPod AUX connector?.
Resale value25 Nov 2007 17:07 GMT2
I keep car until they have no value so I'm not affected as much (if at all)
as the frequent trader.

2005 XG350L  9000 miles will be taking it in next week for oil & filter chg.
Take it in every six months
(Yes that is actual miles. I'm 80 yrs old and don't drive a lot).
Had an airbag light stay on the other day and while I'm a trusting soul, and
Rear Defroster on 02 Sonata has one bad bank25 Nov 2007 02:06 GMT7
Well, it was bound to happen some day. It's started to get frosty here
in Chicago and I just noticed this morning that one of the banks on my
rear defroster is out. I've seen the liquid contact fix for sale in
stores for years but never had to use it. So, how do I go about
Oil Changes on Santa Fe23 Nov 2007 21:29 GMT4
I'm wondering, since my nearest Hyundai dealer is 70 - 80 miles away, and I
would rather get the service from the dealership, if my local Kia dealer is
a good option?
Are the engines enough alike that the Kia SUV filter is interchangable with
1992 Elantra Power Steering pump pressure switch??23 Nov 2007 17:26 GMT1
On the schematic diagram, one can see that the state of the 1992
Elantra Power Steering pump pressure switch is read by the Engine
Control Unit (ECU).
What does the ECU do with this signal?  There is no Check Engine Light
Programming Elantra remote - DYI?23 Nov 2007 17:24 GMT10
I've found an expensive source on eBay for an Elantra remote and now I'm
wondering how difficult it is to program.  Can I do it myself and will I
need extra tools?  The information I've been able to find on hmaservice.com
suggests that I will need a "code saving kit" - can anyone ...
Bent hub or ...22 Nov 2007 22:47 GMT2
I have a front wheel vibration that comes from the hub part. When a
curb is hitten what is the part that usually bend, is it the hub or
bearing or spindle? Is it something hard to take off the hub on an

How long does it take for a squirrel's body to decompose in your     ductwork?22 Nov 2007 22:39 GMT5
I brought my car for an oil change March 2006 and the mechanic showed
me what appeared to be a squirrel's nest that the animal had built in
my air filter.  All last spring and summer I had a horrible smell of
decaying squirrel in my car when I started the heater or the blower.
Thoughts on a 2007 Elantra21 Nov 2007 01:19 GMT8
This is a pretty general request for opinions on the 2007 Elantra.  My
local dealer here in nothern Illinois has one for $13,800 (advertised),
with manual transmission, cd and alarm.  This seems like a good
starting price (yeah, I'm gonna haggle), and I'm wondering if anybody

For the past year or so, when I go out to start my car after it has
