Hyundaitech - any way to auto enable FWD?20 Feb 2008 01:02 GMT11
My wife and I have been driving full-time 4wd vehicles for 20+ years.
All of them had a setting that kept it on all the time.
We both have 2007 Sante Fe's AWD now and as simple as it is to press
the litle button it is often overlooked.

I am exremely unhappy with the mileage I am getting on my 07 Elantra SE. I
previously had an 03 Elantra GT...same job, same commute...averaged 29 MPG.
Then I got a new 05 Elantra GT...same job same commute= 28 MPG. Now I am

Any tricks to programming Homelink on 2007 Sante Fe?16 Feb 2008 17:41 GMT3
I've just installed a new opener and trying to follow the instructions
in the car's manual and the homelink.com site and I cannot get it to
work.
It seems simple enough but has anyone run across any "tricks".  I feel
Power Seat15 Feb 2008 19:08 GMT4
Wife just called saying front power seat on our 2007 Santa Fe, would only go
forward.  She was trying to move it back and it wouldn't go.  So she moved
it forward a little bit thinking who knows what.  Anyway, it will not move
backward and now she is in a very uncomfortable ...
Question about Power-Train warranty12 Feb 2008 19:42 GMT6
I am the original owner of a 2000 Sonata GLS V6 with automatic with
63,000 miles.    I have very recently noticed just a small amount of
fluid leakage from the trannie.
Will this little leak be covered by the power train warranty.
Brake Light and Battery Light On12 Feb 2008 14:38 GMT17
In the two odd years I've been driving this '99 Hyundai Accent, the
brake and battery light have always flickered in rhythm with the rpms
of the engine.  The one time I had it checked out, the garage gave the
alternator a yellow, (caution) warning.  They said it was still
Tiburon and electrical socket/cig lighter11 Feb 2008 09:35 GMT6
My 2007 Tiburon has a cigarette lighter but no dedicated electrical socket.
The salesman told me I could plug things into the cig lighter, like a cell
phone recharger etc.
I have plugged a solar panel trickle charger into the cig lighter and it
Surprised Me Tonight!10 Feb 2008 23:12 GMT15
Well, it all started by having to replace my 03 Grand Am which met with an
unpleasant fate.  I went looking at Sonatas since we've had excellent
service out of my wife's 04 Sonata.  Not a single problem in over 70,000
miles.
Small Scratch08 Feb 2008 02:45 GMT22
I have a small scratch on my brand new '08 Hyundai.
The scratch is on the side of the drivers side door. I opened it a
little to far and bumped something.
Do you think that I should buy touch up paint to seal it to prevent
Buying a new car on the internet.07 Feb 2008 14:38 GMT18
Any thoughts on this?
Good idea, or not?
What to do to a new Elantra?06 Feb 2008 01:45 GMT56
This sounds odd but humor me.
I bought an '07 Elantra.  Just out of curiosity, what things would you
do to a new car to make it easier to work on later?  Up until my last
car I tended to own older used cars, and I hated working on them
Vera Cruz Squeaks & Rattles05 Feb 2008 23:19 GMT6
I'm having a terrible time with squeaks and rattles in my 08 Vera
Cruz. (Headliner and overhead vents, door pillars, doors, etc)  The
dealer told me that the noises are normal because of all the plastic
parts. Has anybody else had this problem?  Is it just poor engineering
