Looking at '08 Santa Fe Limited AWD19 Mar 2008 03:56 GMT4
Just curious if anyone has any first-hand experience with these.  Consumer
Reports just rated it #1 in the mid-sized SUV category, they offer $2000
cash back they end of month, and the 'best warranty in the business.'  I
took one for a test drive two days ago for about 15 minutes ...
2007 Santa Fe Transmission18 Mar 2008 02:20 GMT5
Have noticed recently, 3 or 4 times, that when leaving my driveway in
reverse and then shifting to drive and applying the accelerator, there is a
chuggling of the transmission.
Now I know that chuggling isn't a technical term, but thats the best way I
Transmission gearing when clilmbing hills16 Mar 2008 08:55 GMT1
My 07 Sanfe Fee with the 3.2 engine and 5 speed auto seems to be
lugging when climbing hills at 60 km in town.  Is this normal? Is this
a means to increase mileage  or can damage occur from this setup.

Question about Check Engine light15 Mar 2008 02:13 GMT8
My wife's Elantra had the Check Engine light on for several days. Three days
ago, at my suggestion, she removed and retightened the gas cap and the Check
Engine light went out this afternoon. Can the code still be retrieved by the
dealer even though the light no longer is on?
96 Accent shutting off upon starting up and high pressure line leak14 Mar 2008 16:30 GMT1
I have a very curious problem with my 96 Accent. Odd times when I try
to start up my car, the car shuts off in mid start-up, then I have to
go pop the hood, rotate the negative terminal on the battery then the
car starts up again. Anyone have any ideas?
attn Hyundaitech: Change Spark Plugs on 02 Sonata GLS14 Mar 2008 02:17 GMT7
I was digging around HMAService site trying to see where they're
located but I wasn't able to find any diagrams or schematics. Are they
a pain in the butt to change? Any plug brand recommendations outside
those listed on HMA's site (NGK, Champion)? Thanks.
Elantra Engine Mount13 Mar 2008 22:50 GMT11
While carrying routine maintenance I noticed the right hand side engine
mount strap bolt seems to be loose.
I re-torqued the bolt but it is still not seated properly. The only time
I can think I had maintenance done that would involve the bolt is when
Keyless Entry Remote battery13 Mar 2008 16:02 GMT4
My wife's remote (02 elantra) still shows red when pushing
buttons but does nothing, the other remote still works.
Question; did I read right somewhere that you have 8
seconds to replace the battery before losing programming ?
Honda Fit 200912 Mar 2008 14:26 GMT1
Honda felt like it had such a successful launch with the Honda Fit
last year, that it already designed a new one. The new Fit looks a
little bigger than before, but i think it represents an evolutionary
rather than revolutionary change.
2003 Accent Fuel Filter12 Mar 2008 10:00 GMT2
Does the fuel filter need to be changed, dealer says no.
