97 Elantra wont start30 Apr 2008 16:46 GMT5
Ok. I have fuel pressure and good spark at all cylinders.  The timing belt
is tight, looks new (less than 20000 miles on it, no broken teeth, etc).
Yet, this car will crank and crank, and almost catch but will not run.
Seems like the timing is ever so sligtly off.  But it ...

I have a Hyundai Accent 2001 with the "check engine" light on,
Yesterday I brought it to a local Garage for a oil change and
to have the engine codes scanned.
Come to find out I need a Oxgyn and Transmission sensor,
new recomandation...29 Apr 2008 10:11 GMT-
Hi, I wanted to recommend you this cool new “gadget” that helped me
very much when I was lacking inspiration.  There I’ve found many ideas
and in the same time the people that made the site also gave me a
great laugh navigating their pages. I strongly recommend it!

Engine Died (98 Hyundai Tiburon)29 Apr 2008 02:33 GMT5
I recently came into the posession of a 98 Hyundai Tiburon FX and to
my demise the timing belt slipped and it caused a bent valve or more.
I was quoted a $2,600 repair for the existing engine.  Now whether or
not that sounds about right, I figured it would probably be close to
2 questions: Speedo correction for tires size, and Largest widthe and diameter "tested" on an 2003 Elantra GT.29 Apr 2008 01:26 GMT8
I want to increase the diameter of the tires on my Elantra, and I would
also like to increase the width slightly.
I am looking at 18" X 8.5 or 9.5 wheels with 35 or 40 profile tires.
This is surely going to change the diameter from stock so the speedo
Part Numbers for UK Hyundais28 Apr 2008 17:58 GMT1
Can anyone tell me where I can find out the Hyundai part numbers for
parts for my Lantra 1.6GSI registered in 2000? I could phone up the
dealer but don't suppose they'd be happy to look these up for nothing
unless I'm buying from them. Is there any online source?
Transmission in '08 Santa Fe ?28 Apr 2008 17:54 GMT3
I'll quote a few posts from edmunds.com readers saying the transmission on
the 3.3L V6 for the '08 Santa Fe is 'garbage' and claims it should be
declared a lemon.
I guess if anyone who has a '08 Santa Fe SE or Limited could you let me know
2002 Sonata Headlight Bulb Problem27 Apr 2008 15:16 GMT6
We have a 2002 Sonata as a taxi and we’re having a problem with having
to change the low beam bulbs every 2 to 3 weeks. First of all how long
should these bulbs last? The car is on the road from 3pm to 3am so
we’re using the headlights quite a bit more than most people would.
Synthetic Oil26 Apr 2008 22:14 GMT20
I have a 2003 Accent that I would like to keep as long as possible. I
have had all the scheduled maintainence done on time. It has 45000
miles on it. I have been changing the oil every 3000 miles with
conventional oil. I was wondering what the group's members thought of

Wayne (Moses),
Thanks for some of your replies to my recent posts about the ’08 Santa Fe

Head Gasket Failures26 Apr 2008 17:13 GMT1
In Australia at least, the Kia "Carnival" V6 built around 2002  had a lot of
head gasket failures and  Kia elected  to replace the entire engine I
believe. This engine was sourced from Hyundai but I,ve never heard of
similar
