H7 bulb still failing with reduced voltage13 May 2008 02:42 GMT8
A H7 bulb failed in my modified 2002 XG350 after 2 months.  A 10 amp diode
had been placed in the headlamp circuit that reduced the voltage at the bulb
to 12.8v.  Apparently, this modification has not extended bulb life by any
appreciable amount.  At this point, I'm starting to ...
Radiator leak12 May 2008 17:23 GMT1
I have noticed some anti-freeze under the car for the last couple of days.
2003 Hyundai Elantra.  I checked and it is coming from a red plastic plug in
the underneath corner of the radiator, driver's side(drain plug?).  The plug
is loose/stripped, I did not try to pry it out, but it ...

Hi Guys I have a 2004 Sonata with 20,000 miles on it.
The problem I have is once in a while the spedo will drop to zero then come
back.  If the cruse is on is will drop out, also the green cruse light goes
off.  You can't reengage the cruse until the spedo is steady again.  This

Mt wife was almost home on Friday when the brake, Battery, TCS and ABS
lights all came on and the speedometer stopped working.  I turned the
engine on today and all the same lights came on, but I did not want to
risk taking it out of the driveway to check the speedometer.  At one

Hyundai/Kia Pickup Truck Axed For U.S. Market, Georgia Plant Gets Compact Car Instead09 May 2008 17:57 GMT1
More boring industry news from Korea ? read it if you're interested, move on if you're not. We'd been told a while back by Automotive News and our friends at PickupTrucks.com to expect a pickup truck from the folks at Hyundai or their brand-brothers at Kia. Despite statements ...
2005 XG350 battery question09 May 2008 16:29 GMT3
I see no vent holes for the six cells, just a flat top.  No apparent way to
add distilled water to cells.
Is this a real maintenance free battery which does not need water?
Thank you,

Hyundaitech: '03 how many keyfob and programming. How many part numbers?08 May 2008 22:01 GMT3
I was told by my local dealer that there were too many versions of this
for the 03 Elantra to estimate a cost for a remote and programming
without me bringing in the car.
Is this correct? It doesn't make sense to me.
Recent Sonatas07 May 2008 23:44 GMT2
I've read many online articles on the 06 Sonata, and its general
awesomeness, but few on later models. I presume the reason is that 06
was a generational change, and the later ones are 'more of the same'.
Is that true? Are 07s and 08s at least as good as the 06s?

have to step on the gas hard for the rpms to go back down. i think it
