"Free" oil change02 Jul 2008 21:53 GMT11
When I bought my Sonata, the dealer gave me a booklet with coupons for free
oil changes.  I was in there today to get my fuel tank level sender replaced
under warranty, which went well at no expense to me.  While there, I asked
about the free oil changes.  I've been doing them ...
99 Sonata Cuts off02 Jul 2008 16:29 GMT4
About 3 weeks ago I posted that my sons 99 Sonata 2.4L would intermittingly
cut off and restart in a few minutes. There were no DTCs. Then one day it
would not restart and he had it towed into a independent shop. Their

cable.  Any idea what it goes to since the amp doesn't have a ...
The Power Train Goes Down Apparently From Lack of Coolant...02 Jul 2008 06:07 GMT11
Here is the deal as much as I currently am aware of
A 2003 Elantra with automatic is apparently now dead
A lack of coolant, claims Hyundai, killed the power train, and so the
terrific power train warranty doesn't apply in such a case
blown motor (Tib)01 Jul 2008 18:01 GMT14
My son bought a new Hyundai Tiburon in 2004 with a 10 year/100,000 warranty. 4
years and 70,000 miles later the motor blows ( hole in engine block near timing
chain and oil all over the highway). The last couple of years he
did a lot of mod's to it...... headers, exhaust, air intake ...
