| '06 Elantra GT w/ 51K Miles What Should I Check Before Buying? | 31 Oct 2008 22:53 GMT | 3 |
I may buy an '06 Elantra Hatchback GT with 51K miles. I drove the car in the city and on the highway. it drives well and seems to be tight except the clutch feels weak, very similar to the clutch in my Saturn with 121K miles. What should I check the car for? I know it'll need a ...

| P0422 - 2001 Elantra | 27 Oct 2008 22:34 GMT | 1 |
Hi Hyundaitech! You probably don't remember my unrealistic optimism that P0422 might only be an O2 sensor problem, from a post in June, which you helped bring to ground. (It still seems weird to me that the car would be

Hey Hyundaitech...I still don't have an answer for you on what this part is exactly...I will get the manual as soon as my son is around. Maybe you can help out with one more thing. I was doing the rest of the tuneup on the 2003 Elantra GT...I ran into one problem. When I

| Buy back offers | 22 Oct 2008 03:34 GMT | 4 |
Hyundai keeps sending me offers to buy back my car for a very good price and a ridiculously good price off a new Hyundai. They claim there is a need for used recent model Hyundais in the market and that's why they are offering top dollar to buy my used vehicle.

| 2006 Sonata rear rotor rusting and pitting | 22 Oct 2008 00:48 GMT | 10 |
I just did my 40,000 mile maintenance and inspection and while rotating the tires inspected the brakes. The good news is that that pads appear to be less than half worn out. Yes, after 40,000 miles there is a lot of material left. The bad news is that the rear rotors are ...

| Spark Plug Question | 21 Oct 2008 02:29 GMT | 4 |
I just changed the plugs and wires in my daughters 2003 Sonata V6. It was pretty easy because I used an illustrated how to guide that I found in an Santa Fe forum. I even managed to replace the dreaded back center (plenum) brace bolt that most people suggested to leave off ...

| Nav System | 21 Oct 2008 00:12 GMT | 8 |
On my '09 Sonata I found that the nav's GPS system shows me in Michigan all of the time. I'm actually in Central California. I tried re-setting it, the dealer's 'tech' tried re-setting it, unplugging it, etc, and even called some tech support which I believe was Garmin's. No

| Wheel Alignment on '07 Tucson (4WD) | 20 Oct 2008 22:19 GMT | 3 |
I'm told by my mechanic that 3 of the 4 wheels on my 10-months-old '07, 4WD Tucson require alignment. He also says that, normally, only the toe-in is adjustable on Hyundais, but that there is a $90/wheel kit on the after-market that would allow camber adjustment as well.

| 2002 Sonata Throttle Cable | 20 Oct 2008 22:13 GMT | 2 |
Yet another question: When I step on the gas pedal, I feel more than a little resistance. Usually, I have to push hard with my foot, which leads to "jackrabbit" starts after which I have to back off the
