She Takes a While to Warm Up . . .18 Oct 2008 17:24 GMT6
I drive a 2007 Accent GS (3-door hatchback).  It's the first car I've eve
owned without an actual temperature guage; there is an indicator to sho
when temp is too low or I assume too high.  My concern is that it seems t
take a long time to warm up the engine.  On cool mornings ...
2003 Sonata V6 Spark plugs17 Oct 2008 06:00 GMT5
My daughters 2003 sonata V6 (that I gave her when I got my 2007) has
70000 miles on it.
I am looking for plugs for it.  The manual says champion RC10PYPB4,
but when I look up that plug it shows that its for the 2006-7 Sonata
Hey HT17 Oct 2008 04:55 GMT2
My 07 Santa Fe (one of them), has developed a vibration from the back of the
vehicle.  Isolated it down to where the molded plastic cover sits next to
the rear window on the rear lifting door.
Was able to eliminate by wedging a small piece of cardboard between the
Timing Belt 2002 Elantra16 Oct 2008 12:41 GMT7
Checked the owners manual and it stated the timing belt should be replaced
at 60,000 miles. Car currently has 65,000. Should any other items such as
water pump etc. be changed in addition to the belt while that area is
disassembled?  Does anyone know the average cost of replacing ...

2003 Sonata V6 Spark plugs13 Oct 2008 21:52 GMT2
OK, I gave up trying to figure out which the Champion plug and went with the
NGK plugs that everyone agreed with.  But now I have a question on those.
The manual says the gap should be .039 - .043, but all of the web sites
state it should be .044 for the NGK plug (in the Sonata). ...

2002 Sonata revisited11 Oct 2008 04:41 GMT4

Hey Hyundaitech11 Oct 2008 00:25 GMT2
Just had the work done on the '08 Elantra fuel pump recall and I have a
question.  Is the fuel pump involved with this recall actually inside the
tank or is it externally mounted?  If it's inside the tank, is it accessible
without dropping the fuel tank?  The reason I'm asking is ...

Hyundai's September Sales Down 25.4%09 Oct 2008 03:40 GMT12
Hyundai is reporting that it too was burned in September. Sonata sales were the only area of increase, with a jump of some 31.7 percent, to a total of 8,629 for September. (The nasty little asterisk is that the Sonata is so heavily sold to fleet that Hyundai no longer breaks out ...

Poor tire wear08 Oct 2008 18:15 GMT5
I have a set of Sumitomo HTR H4 tires on my 2003 Elantra.  The tire is rated
at 60k, but I only have about 33k on them and they're almost gone.  I expect
to replace them around 38k.  The car came with Michelins which were rated at
50k and I actually got 45k+ from them before ...

I am a first time driver, so the car will have to be small. I want a
