Anyone around?08 Oct 2008 00:19 GMT6
I haven't received any posts for a couple of days now so I'm guessing my
ISP is having trouble.  Has anyone else had any problems getting
messages here?

Burned Power Outley Fuses07 Oct 2008 21:46 GMT4
My wife drives a 2007 Entourage, and in slightly less than 2 years, we
have had to replace both power outlet fuses (15 amp) twice.
Unfortuately, I can't tie down just when they fail.
She regularly uses the outlets for her cell phone charger and/or the
2006 Elantra Clutch07 Oct 2008 15:22 GMT4
I think the clutch is going in my 2006 Elantra.  75,000 miles on it so
I can't claim it isn't driven much.  ;-)
Would it be under the original owner warranty?
Roughlt how much for a clutch replacement?
2008 Elantra recall06 Oct 2008 22:27 GMT1
Just received a safety recall notice from Hyundai on my 2008 Elantra.
Problem seems to be with the electric fuel pump motor inside the tank.  They
say they will replace the fuel pump subassembly.  At no charge, of course.
Has anyone had any of the problems they say may be caused ...
2002 Sonata- brake question06 Oct 2008 22:15 GMT1
Well, I put the Sonata on the road a few weeks ago, and it's a
very nice car in many ways. However, I took it to be inspected
last week, and was told it needs the check engine light problem
resolved and it needs pads and rotors on all four wheels.
For 2009 Hyundai: Powertrain Is Covered For How Long ?06 Oct 2008 22:07 GMT3
Recently I rode in a 2008 Sonata courtesy car, and was mainly
impressed by its XM-Sirius radio, which I recall discussing/
requesting  here several years ago: Does the now merged  XM-Sirius
subsidize/incentivize the car companies to make the radio available,
2006 sonata passenger seat airbag sensor recall06 Oct 2008 21:59 GMT5
I brought my car to dealership after receiving the recall notice and i
experienced the twilight zone.  i mentioned to the service manager
that the described problem (the passenger side airbag sensor working

AC02 Oct 2008 23:38 GMT9
2009 Hyundai Sonata SE V6 4dr Sedan (3.3L 6cyl 5A) w/ a mfg date of
5/09.  I'd say that's pretty new.  Way too new for the AC to be on the
fritz.  Has the dual air but on or off when the AC's running, in any
mode, the passenger side is just a tad cooler than the drivers.  No

many first world countries?

Anyone else had a dealer experience like this?02 Oct 2008 10:50 GMT27
Monday I made my first appointment at the local Hyundai dealer (BTW
where also I bought my Sonata) for some maintenance work that the
owner's manual suggests strongly is required to maintain my warranty.
Specifically, replacement of the fuel filter, fuel tank air filter and
2002 Sonata Electrical Problems02 Oct 2008 00:44 GMT1
I've got a 2002 Sonata LX with 85k miles that has developed a very
nasty habit. If I hit a frost heave or something similar, the radio
cuts out briefly then returns and plays perfectly.  This trick was
followed a short time later with the airbag light staying lit after
