| Slight whining noise in 4wd | 31 Jan 2004 20:03 GMT | 8 |
Is it normal to hear kinda medium-pitched (not low, not high) whine coming from front when in 4wd mode? Not really loud. I just had oil changed in front axle, and methinks the noise wasn't there before (or it was not as loud, and lower-pitched).

| Snake oils or proven addatives | 26 Jan 2004 05:35 GMT | 1 |
Anyone have any proven results with the 75K oils and additives? My engine has over 100K and I see so much on the shelves now to say "increase horsepower, oil burning or your money back". Any mechanics here to say yes they work, or just hype, and use the regularoils and gas and get ...

Two weeks ago I totaled our 1998 Isuzu Trooper, so I don't need the Helm's manuals any longer. I have both the Shop Manual and the Electrical Troubleshooting Manual. Before I list this on eBay, I thought I would offer it up to the newsgroup.

I am a little angry with my trooper now. I am having to spend $2500.00 USD to overhaul the transmission. Something about the converter going out. It only has 95k miles, it should go out. Anyone has any knowledge of transmissions on troopers.

| 98 Rodeo Gas mileage | 21 Jan 2004 13:37 GMT | 12 |
I'm the original owner of a 3.2 v6 rodeo... I've always changed my oil on time, gotten tune ups at regular intervals, used either mid-grade or supreme gas, and repaired any problems instantly. About 3 years ago I had to take a job driving long distances and I could usually get
