Hi -- I need to replace the alternator in my 3.1L V6, but I am having a difficult time determining which pully is the idle pully for the serpentine belt. Anybody know what I should release to loosen the belt? Thanks.

A pal has a '91 Rodeo with a 5-speed/V-6. He is getting a noise from the tranny when the clutch is engaged. Sounds to me like a bearing in the input or lay shafts. Any ideas/experiences? He has it out. Are these things difficult to work on? Are parts hard to find?

I'm having a problem with my car. When I signal a right turn, the right turn indicator inside the cabin doesn't flash, instead it remains steady. But that's not the biggest problem. The real problem is that signaling a right turn causes the warning lights to flash on

89 pickup....just had a valve job and head gasket replaced. Timing is perfect until the enging warms up, then with the timimg light atatched you can see it dancing back and forth. any help would be apreciated

I am planning to tow a 3500 lb load (Boat) with an ISUZU Rodeo 1995 2.6L rated for 2 000 lb towing in the owner's manual. Do you think it will not work ? The road to the lake is flat and about 10 miles.
